Thank you for the kind words!

Yes, Apricot and Altitude both support "Mod X" and "Mod Y" in their mod matrices and it works per voice with slide notes.

This year's Halloween sale just ended about a week ago, so there won't be another sale for a little while.

Hope this is helpful!

Hi, thanks for the detailed feature request! I'll add it to the list, but I cannot promise when or if this will be worked on.

Thanks for the bug report! A fix has been uploaded: please try version 1.2.7.

Hi, thanks for the issue report.

The arpeggiator Mode Select determines the order in which the held notes are played. It does not affect the order of the octaves triggered by the Range Select, which are always triggered going up.

There are a few other unexpected behaviours of the arpeggiator (maybe you can consider them bugs). For example, adding or removing held notes can cause the arpeggiator to lose its position in the sequence. If you need a more traditional behaviour, you may need to use a separate MIDI plugin for generating arps, if your DAW supports this.

Hi, thanks for this crash report. Are you able to run any of my other synths in standalone mode, or do they also crash similarly? e.g. Apricot

Sorry, this is not possible currently.

Could you try v1.0.1 of *ExtraBold* for macOS? I have hopefully fixed the error with this. If so, I'll roll out updates for all my other plugins.

Hi, which error are you getting? I'm working on a fix for the "damaged or incomplete" error at the moment.

Thanks for sharing this. However unfortunately there isn't enough information in the report for me to diagnose the cause of the crash. If in the future I fix any bugs in the Linux standalone code, I'll let you know here.

Thank you for the bug report. Do you have "GDB" installed on your computer? If so, can you run `./Apricot` under it and paste the output of the crash information?

Thank you, glad they are working now!

Is there anything in the folder ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (use Command+Shift+G in Finder to enter this file path)?

As far as I can tell, the error you're getting is produced by when the installer tries to relaunch macOS's registration app for Audio Units. The installer only tries to do this *after* it has installed the plugins, so if you restart your computer then your DAW should be able to detect them? Otherwise I'm not sure what's happening.

Which plugin formats are you trying to install? Does the installer succeed if you only select the CLAP format? Only the Audio Unit format?

What happens when you try to install it?

According to this article from Apple, https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mh40616/mac, there should be an option to grant an exception to allow the app to open in Privacy & Security settings.

Thanks for letting me know. It seems the CLAP plugin is using only glibc 2.22, but the standalone version requires glibc 2.34.

I will rebuild Regency on Ubuntu 20.04 and drop support for anything older than that.

Hi, on Ableton's forums there is a feature request thread for CLAP support here: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?p=1807556

If you post on there, they'll probably be more likely to add support in the future :)

Thank you for the kind words! I do listen to all feature requests, but I can't guarantee which will be added in an update. I will take a look at this, although I suspect this would be a somewhat complicated feature to add. But feel free to send other feature ideas :)

Could you try the new v1.1.0 download? I believe I have fixed the issue that prevented extracting the .zip file properly on macOS Ventura.

With ApricotSynthBetaMacOS_v1.0.9.zip, are you able to load the standalone .app? Please follow the installation instructions and let me know what happens.

I've uploaded a new version today, v1.0.17. Could you check if this allows automation of the frequency parameters?

Did you copy the .clap file to the correct folder? Make sure that Apricot.clap is *inside* the CLAP folder.

You can check if the .clap file is in the correct folder by running the Terminal.app command,

                   ls ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP

(Copy and paste this to make sure you get the caps correct.)

And it should list the Apricot.clap file.

Hi, The installer does not run on 32-bit Windows. The plugin itself should work on 32-bit Windows. If you install the plugin on 64-bit Windows, then you can copy the plugin DLLs across to the 32-bit Windows, and they should work.

For CLAP, copy "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\CLAP\Fluctus.clap" on your 64-bit Windows to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\Fluctus.clap" on your 32-bit Windows.

For the FL Studio native, copy the "Fluctus" folder in "Plugins\Generators" of your FL Studio folder from your 64-bit Windows to your 32-bit Windows.

Let me know if you have trouble getting this work.

Never mind, I was mistaken. It was a bug in Apricot, and I think it is fixed in the latest version, v1.0.3. Please let me know if you see the issue again with this version.

Hi, thank you for the report. I am able to reproduce the issue.

I think it is caused by a bug in Reaper. I will report it on their forums.

Hi again. Just in case you hadn't seen, version 1.1 is now available. Thanks =)

Sorry, this is a known issue with the current version when running on Windows 7 or 8.

It will be fixed in Version 1.1, which I expect will be released in the coming days.

Hi, I've uploaded a new version v0.6.15 here.

It marks all the parameters the host should treat as read only with the "CLAP_PARAM_IS_READONLY" flag.  (There are technical reasons why I do not want to use the "CLAP_PARAM_IS_STEPPED" flag.)

It should also correctly convert the parameters such as filter mode to text.

Thank you for reporting this issue!

I would like in the future to add macOS support. But unfortunately I cannot promise a time frame for when this will happen. I don't currently have a Mac, and I'm waiting until I'm able to justify the investment

I do not currently have plans to add support for the VST* format.

However I hear that the CLAP developers are working on a CLAP-to-VST converter, so perhaps in the near future it will be possible to load CLAP plugins within VST hosts. Although please note I will not be able to offer technical support for customers who are not using a proper CLAP plugin host.

*VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH

To load CLAP plugins, you'll need the latest prerelease of REAPER, which I believe can be found from here: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=22836. Their developers have asked not to have discussion of their prereleases outside of their forums, so I will respect that decision. If you have any trouble using my CLAP plugins with the prerelease, please ask about it on their forums.

It's finally here. The Integrate synthesizer is a modern reimagining of the old-school virtual analog classics. Optimized for creativity, it follows in the footsteps of the synths that shaped generations of new electronic music, bringing together a straightforward user interface with an intricate and colorful sound engine.

Powered with heavily optimized C++ code that automatically adapts to your specific processor's capabilities, Integrate offers very low CPU usage even in complex patches, as well as barely any RAM usage. And with support for the new audio plugin format "CLAP", Integrate is ready for the next wave of digital audio technology: it boasts advanced features like non-destructive polyphonic parameter modulation and note stacking — this is truly cutting edge.

Dive into a world of characterful oscillators, screaming filters, chaotic LFOs, and dreamy reverbs. There's bound to be something that'll captivate your imagination.

Key features:

  • 5 oscillators (over 60 waveforms; FM/RM/sync), 2 filters (with variable routing), 2 amps with AHDSR envelopes, 3 LFOs, 2 mod envelopes, 9 effect units, oscillator character control.
