Thank you so much!

Thank you :)

But jetpacks are much cooler

Thanks!

Can't wait! I played a bunch of your other games and they feel great too, do you have a Ko-Fi page or something for donations?

Love it, would feel great on mobile. Do you plan on making updates?

This feels great to play

This made me deeply uncomfortable.

Thanks ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed it

The new major update to the Oftalmogarden Alpha Demo contains a brand new garden: Carbon Marshes!

Oh, and it has a kickass FLAMETHROWER 🔥🔥🔥

Oftalmogarden is a weird fast-paced roguelike shooter full of eyeball monsters, awesome upgrades, and cool weapons! It's in development and free to try download right here: https://nazorus.itch.io/oftalmogarden

I also published a devlog with thoughts, some lore, patch notes, and some info on the future of the game.

Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated, hoping you have fun with Oftalmogarden!

Cheers!

Cool stuff! The mosquito changes should help a lot with finding landmarks!

Oftalmogarden is a fast-paced roguelike shooter set on a weird planet populated by eyeball-creatures.

The alpha demo has received a new content update since launch, with 6 new upgrades and curses, 2 new enemies, and a brand new weapon!

You can play it for free right here in itch: https://nazorus.itch.io/oftalmogarden

I also published a devlog with some development thoughts and details about the update.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, I'm trying to make the game as enjoyable as possible while I continue the development.

Cheers!

This third person shooter takes places on a bizarre eyeball-populated planet. It's fast, chaotic and stressfully satisfying.

Download the demo, for free of course, right here! https://nazorus.itch.io/oftalmogarden

You continuously grow stronger in Oftalmogarden by accumulating random upgrades, but will also receive curses over time, so you need to keep a fast pace if you want a chance to survive.

Check out the Survival Guide on the game's page if you find yourself struggling.

This demo showcases the main concepts of the game and features 40 upgrades and curses, 8 weapons, and 2 garden templates. Your goal in the demo will be to clear as many gardens as you can before inevitably dying.

Please feel free to leave some feedback whether you had fun or hated it, it's always super helpful!

I also wrote the first of many devlogs here: https://nazorus.itch.io/oftalmogarden/devlog/204732/the-garden-is-open

The game is still in active development, and although I am working alone I intend to deliver regular updates and development thoughts along them.

Have fun with the demo!

Thanks for playing! I felt the slinging and shooting were complementing each other well. Glad the SFX made you laugh :D

Pretty cool game, I like the concept of helping a character go through a level, it reminds me of playing the Wizard character in Trine where you can summon boxes to help your friends. The character's animations are also pretty funny. Good job!

Thanks again for playing! I'll check your game out later today :)

I like the idea, although there does not seem to be much interaction in this version. This does sound like fun to program, and I think it has the potential to become a really cool game with some updates.

Good job!

Nice game, I really like the pixel art. The controls feel a bit floaty (which makes spikes hard to avoid) and it's sometimes hard to tell when attacks hit an enemy, but apart from that it's a solid dungeon crawler. I don't feel the transformation adds much to the game right now, but it has potential to be really satisfying.

Good job overall :)

This is a bit difficult to play, maybe this one is a bit too out of control. The idea is pretty interesting though, I think it can become a fun game with some polish. Good job on submitting :)

Thanks for playing and for the comment! The background could use some work indeed :)

Thanks for playing and for taking the time to write this, first impressions and general feelings are always useful!

I agree that enemies aren't bringing much to the game right now except putting some pressure on the player, and the camera could definitely be improved.

Thank you for playing! I had a lot of fun making this sound :D

You can follow shadows to find the light more easily, obstacles are also placed in a circle around the light.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy to hear the lighting effects are working well as a guide, the obstacles are placed in a circle for the same reason :)

I agree that walls can be overly punishing, maybe only some of them should deal damage.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had fun! I will try to address the clipping issue in an update after the jam.

Haha, thank you for the honest feedback.

Love the graphics and effects, especially the black hole one! The game feels super fluid and the gameplay is pretty fun once you get the hang of it. For some reason the jetpack sound stopped playing after I finished the first level (which is fine because it felt a little too loud to me).

Good job on making this game :)

The art style is pretty cute, and the gameplay is solid although a bit repetitive. I'm not sure about the choice of music, but that's a matter of taste :D

Good job on submitting!

That was a really cool game with interesting mechanics. The mouse movement works really great and feels fluid and responsive, the only issue is accidentally moving the cursor outside the game window (I have 3 monitors). I think there is a lot of potential in the way enemies work too.

Visually speaking, it looks great, the pixel art is nice and clean and the lighting effects are just so effective at creating a cool atmosphere and making the game look dynamic.

All in all, you did a great job on this entry, there's not much to criticize, really :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Motion sickness definitely seems to be an issue for some people, I'll probably add some options for it after the jam.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had fun!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback, I'm happy you liked the camera system!

I felt the enemies might not be dangerous enough, but they do manage to create some pressure it seems :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! When I heard about how "shoot to move" was overdone I was afraid people would dismiss my game as just that despite the sling mechanic. I'm glad you had a good time with the game :)

Thanks for the kind words! The camera took a while to calibrate properly, I'm glad you appreciate it :)

Such a cool game, this would be so much fun during a party with a couple of drinks :D

My only gripe is the keyboard layout which seems a bit strange, it also feels like one button per player would have been enough and easier to play.

Really, this game is a gem, good job!

Awesome game, I love the concept of controlling a horde of zombie! The minimalist art style looks great and the animations are very well done. The sound design works really well too.

Great entry, that was a fun experience.

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience :)

I have seen this clipping issue a few times, I'll try to address it if I make an update, thanks for telling me!

Thanks for playing and the feedback on stream :D

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Fun game, the random debuffs promote improvisation and adaptation, that's something I like in a game. The shooting felt pretty satisfying thanks to the animations, and I have to say the music isn't bad once the gameplay starts :D

Good job!
