How does your game fit the theme?
The theme has a double meaning. The bunnies move chaoticly, and the challange of keeping them together quickly becomes out of control. Additionally, the main character is not in your direct control, and you only have a small influence over their actions, putting them out of your control.

Solid execution of the concept, but I really wish the wrangler wouldn't collide with the bunnies. ended up pushing more out of the center than retrieving. Would have benefited from a bit more juice as well. Overall a solid execution.

I think the concept is very cool. Not controlling the character directly but rather giving them a sort of priority is a pretty neat idea.

But it feels a bit like your input doesn't amount to a whole lot. Maybe you could provide clearer feedback on how exactly the ranger decides what to do, so the player can see how their input helps in that decision.

Also the game could be expanded upon by having multiple rangers. So the player can decide if they want to have all the rangers do all jobs equally or if they have some with specific tasks.

Like I said, cool idea. And I think has potential to be made into something interesting.

It's a cool concept but I think you should control the character in a different way. Adjusting a pie chart doesn't give the player much feedback on what's going on.

I like the concept, but there isn't really much to do... fiddling with the graph feels meaningless, so it isn't really fun to do that either, the action of the farmer aren't that clear... 😕

Spending time only watching a screen doing nothing isn't for everybody i guess...  😕

I like the idea, although there does not seem to be much interaction in this version. This does sound like fun to program, and I think it has the potential to become a really cool game with some updates.

Good job!

Maybe make the probability graph easier to read, was playing it mindlessly, needs some tweaks to make it more appealing

Fun idea, I liked having direct control over the Sims-like action probability distribution. The bunnies were very cute and I'm afraid I wasn't a very good god to them

Interesting concept! Curious how it could be expanded, currently, you either go control freak to turn one of the action high or set a good enough ratio and sit back and watch.

An interesting concept and pretty good UX (if it's applicable to games): it was really easy to get what's the goal, and the controls were easy to use and understand. Sometimes it felt like the character wasn't doing what I wanted but perhaps I had my inputs set wrong. Also, maybe implementing waves-like behavior for features (foxes, for example) could make the set-all-stuff-and-wait strat useless and force players into tweaking the controls all the time to adapt. Anyways, good job!

When I first realized the pie chart on the side was controlling the frequency of my actions I got very excited! I think the UI choice for this is really cool and felt fresh for an indirect control game! The three choices between feeding the bunnies, retrieving stragglers and preventing foxes were also really clear and I think in general the concept was very intuitive and I think that was executed very well. I think if going further with this, the next steps would be to work on changing the game dynamics more frequently in a moment to moment sense e.g. moments where there's a lot of foxes on screen at once, moments where the bunnies all disperse, just reasons to not settle into an optimal state and have to change how often you're doing the different tasks from moment to moment

i really love the concept but i think it lack of feature so it become boring very quickly.

I love me some fun little simulation games! It's a fun game to play around with for a bit but you could try to improve the replayability a bit more! Awesome job overall though!!

Yo’,
The idea is interesting but the game gets boring very quickly, after setting up the controls to a level you’re comfortable with, you just watch everything unfold without nothing much to do, there are ways to make the game more interactive, like clicking in certain areas to scare the bunnies around it, but that’s up to you and what you want this game to be like.

Well this is some original gameplay! I'd say that it's more of a 'do your settings and watch the game plays itself' kind of experience but it's still interesting. It would probably be an interesting minigame or gameplay addition to a bigger game ;D

Nice simulation ! GG for the game, must have been hard to balance all that :O

A nice simple simulation game. Quite fun at first but can get boring quite quickly so I would recommend adding some more features. I liked the idea of the pie chart which you could use to decide which chores you did, but often I'd find myself just leaving as it is and  just watching. I think that it would have been better if there were more chores which you could specifically get the player to do so the game would feel more interactive. However, I really liked how the game fitted the theme in more ways than one and it was also very unique. Good job!

Developer(+1)

I had also found myself just watching the game play itself and ignoring the controls. In fact, that's how I tested the game for most of the development (the controls were the last thing I implemented other than the main/help menus).

A lot of the feedback I've received mentioned adding more features and/or controls. I had considered adding more features (something like 6 instead of 3), but I had only really came up with a good 3 while planning, and I was already running out of time with just the three. I still think that adding more would start to clutter the design a bit too much, but I did see during development that there was an issue with giving the player enough to stay engaged.

Interesting concept, fellow herding simulator creator! Check out our team's game for a different take on herding livestock :)

A good concept but maybe a bit slow for me :D

This is a clever concept! Great work!
