Yay, we were #26 out of 1857 submissions!!! https://twitter.com/nkcss/status/1297119602338607104?s=21 so not quite top 25 in very category but still very proud :)

In that same video he announced he withdrew, I’m sure he would have published the video after if that wasn’t the case

(1 edit)

I was hoping for top 25 in all categories. Feedback has been amazing, but there are so many good games, that I don’t dare to hope for anything better at this time. Very excited to see the results.

he also worked hard and created a good game, so that’s not a fair assessment.

Also, he announced that he will withdraw from the Jam, so he won’t be in the results (see his last video on YT). I really feel like this could be handled better, but not much we can do about it now.

thank you for the kind words. It’s actually the first time we did a jam together, but it helps when you team up with 3 other superstars :)

You can watch the video here:

Timestamps available for all the games.

Just FYI: I uploaded the video from when I played your game on stream. You can check it out here (timestamps for each game are in the description): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zndBygTNM2w

Thank you for the nice feedback :) Glad you liked it

The power of YT :)

glad you liked it!

Thanks for the kind words. We are thinking about maybe making mobile versions of the game; that would include more of the things mentioned :)

Hi Ronnie,

if you click one of the flags in the left live tracker, the camera will follow that boat until you manually take control again, maybe that helps :)

thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the game :)

That is really kind of you to say. Looking forward to see the result of the jam!

Thank you for the kind words :)

Awww, you're welcome :)

Thank you, we were looking at various ways to interpret the theme as I'm sure if we'd had gone with the straight-forward approach, it would be harder to stand out, but I'm very happy with how it turned out :)

I hope so too, all the reactions have been so great, really excited to see the scores at the end of voting!

Glad you liked it, as you know, Clare just loves to do those voices :) See you on stream next saturday? :)

Thank you, Clare did a stellar job on this :)

Thank you, we had a lot of fun making it, glad you enjoyed our efforts :)

Thanks for the update :)

Very cute game :) I saw @Xeethrax talking about it on Discord, so figured I'd try it too :) Nice game :) the controls for unrolling were giving me issues and I've had same targeting issues (might be because of the custom cursor), but once I worked around that, I found it to be a very nice game! Maybe it would feel less bad to keep sending things away if you had 2 work area's so that you can take 1 roll and maybe save some stuff, but very original and fun game that I could see work well as a mobile game too :)

Thank you Bee, glad you liked it :)

Took a bit to get used to, but clever idea :)

Nice game and a lot harder than it would look at first sight. One thing that tripped me up quite a bit, was the fact that the player was not at a fixed position relative to the camera. This means that whenever I would walk, if the cursor is near, it would become twitchy as it would follow the camera, but I really liked the game.

Cool that you were able to put this together in the timespan of the jam. It was a bit hard for me to tell what would happen on a hit; I reversed into someone and he died without me taking damage, other frontal hits it seems liked I took way more damage. Steering was a bit hard; would be nice to be able to have a way to make sharper turns (e.g. release throttle increases steering angle, or handbreak turns). But cool game.

I love the rewind visual; looks great. The ramp up in difficulty was a bit much for me though :) The level with the plate + switch was already not something I could figure out easily. Nice entry though.

I'm sorry, but I could not figure out how to play the game; the two people stat you start with, I could not select them (clicking on them or their icons above their heads didn't seem to do anything), you start without resources, so I could not build any buildings either.

I got stuck on the level where you could jump through walls; that wasn't really for me. I thought that the line indicator showed the gaps; so when I had it trace through to the middle, I thought I could shoot there, but it would still fail. Other than that, I liked the levels before that.
