Thanks for playing my game! Not being able to move is a bug that I unfortunately couldn't fix in time. And while the game is playable from start to finish,  that specific bug has ended many, many runs. And that is extremely unfortunate (Especially because what happens in the final cutscene was the entire idea of this game. The final dialogue sequence was pretty much the first thing I thought of). And about the dodge thing, yeah. My code for that was handled horribly and caused it to be a little buggy, and the way that code worked made it so I couldn't really make the player dodge in whatever direction. Thanks for checking out the game regardless, I really hope that in future jams I'll be able to fix major issues like this. Though for now I hope the game is playable enough to still be enjoyed. Thank you!

Cool concept, if you had more time to actually flesh out this idea more and make adjustments to the game I feel like the game would've been extremely fun. However there just a few minor issues and bugs that keep it from being that. As well as having only one real mechanic that's kind of explored. However like I said it's a starting point , a prototype even, and if it were to be expanded upon it would probably be a really fun game. Great job in making this in such a short amount of time! (That's a huge achievement in it of itself).

Very nice concept, if you had more time to iterate upon the mechanics and make adjustments to the game it could've been great! The game at it's current state is pretty impressive and enjoyable too. It has potential. Good job.

Thank you for checking out my game! I really wish I had more time to polish sound effects and generally work more on sound design. Music and sound effects were one of my main goals regarding this project but I ran out of time.

Hey! That's MY title! Jokes aside this is a cool game idea, VERY creative but I couldn't find any keys, and I couldn't figure out how to select objects even though the game told me how to. I'm not sure if it was a bug but it just didn't work. So unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game. Though as I said, it's very creative and if you kept working on it then it could become such a cool idea!

Hey I can't really play this game because the tutorial text doesn't seem to scale to fit my screen, and I can't figure out how to play the game otherwise. Seems like an interesting idea though, and having this be your first Godot project is cool!

This is a pretty nice little game. Surprisingly bug free for a game jam game and I enjoyed my time! Good job. Though I will say I didn't really find a point in scaling up or down because you can't shoot while being smaller/bigger. If there is any point to it then I must have missed it.

A really interesting submission! Pretty cool concept, nice gameplay, and well polished for a game jam game. Well done!

Here's' mine: https://itch.io/jam/day-3/rate/2190885
The only download is from the day 1 creator who wanted to check it out

Cool! But I meant which game you're working on now, like today, or what you already submitted

A lot of people are getting stressed whether their day 1 or day 2 game is getting picked. You can post which day 2 game you're working on now. I already finished mine: Telekinesis puzzle game

Okay, I will. Edit: I just uploaded all of the game files. you should be able to open this.

Cool, I'm working on this one right now, though not sure if I have enough time to do much. Edit: I just uploaded it to day 3! Hope you like the changes

I'm busy today and tomorrow, so if I have the time I'll try

You probably cannot. Because think of it this way: If you win, there will be 12 developers who won? How would it work? Those are all questions that I think make it easier to just stick to one path for this jam

Got it, it seems I might've had a different version, thanks for the help.

Cool I'll play it now! Edit: I'll tell you my opinion on Day 3 because I'm not sure if I can tell you today, but I will say that it has a TON of potential for a game developer! Again, thank you for choosing my game and I hope it gets picked by another person (:

Wow, thank you, well no communication from now on!

Hey, obviously no communication (and no pressure) but I was just wondering if everything was going well?

Honestly this is a strong contender for what I'm choosing for day 3. I have to ask though, how did you open up the project files? I also tried to download this but the project file was all messed up

Sorry dude I couldn't import the files correctly (I think) since nothing had a material (the materials in the folder were all pink) and I could not even apply a new material. Sorry to let you down :(

( with Unity) I made this for day 1: https://itch.io/jam/day-1/rate/2187828

With Unity!: https://itch.io/jam/day-1/rate/2187828

Hey, all of the others already got picked (even multiple times) and I want as many games as I can to make it through, if I have time I'll make some casual updates :)

Here's mine! https://itch.io/jam/day-1/rate/2187828

Wow, pretty cool! I think I'm going to use it

Is this made in Unity and did you implement movement?

Cool concept, I'll continue this on Day 2 but if there's already someone continuing it, I'll continue it on day 4! (I already have a game for day 3)

On the itch.IO page, you can click "Add cover image" and then pick an image. Hope this helps!

Cool!  if it's made in Unity, I'll probably continue the day 2 version on day 3!

I don’t see anything wrong with making 2 games, that just means you have a better chance for your game to get picked by someone!

(1 edit)

Thank you! Somebody actually did pick it! And I’m enternally grateful for them because a lot of people who have great games did not get picked by anyone.

great, and thanks for choosing my game!

By the way, if it does not work, consider using the old method, go to the "assets" folder, click on "scenes" and now you can open my  scene! this works because it is a single scene, but the method I describes is used for opening multiple scenes, sorry I made it more complex. I forgot!

So, create a new project in Unity, and after that, locate where the  new project is saved, and move everything (the script assets, etc.) from the files I gave you into the file in your new project. Unity should automatically import all the assets and scripts into your new project, basically replicating mine. So if you're new project is called "Kick it" and you saved it inside a folder called "Unity projects" go to Unity projects, click on "Kick it" and then paste everything you copied from my project files

Thank you! No worries if you decide to go with another one!

All of them! Do not worry though, they're very small files but for some reason itch told me I need to upload multiple. Just remember to extract all of it from the Zip files. Let me know if you choose my game!
