This game is a lot of fun and very polished, finished it on hard in 21 years.

A cute game with a good concept, I think it needed more mechanics and variety but was fun overall.

This is a very interesting idea and I like the music.

I like the music and pixel art, the combat was fun but feels a bit clunky.

This is a cool game, it's a bit hard to fight the boss though because you can't see when it's going to attack. I think adding a dodge roll would make the combat feel a lot better too.

This game is cute and it's fun to try the different choices, I wish there were more options to try.

The graphics look quite nice and I like the simple style, the voice over is really well done and makes the game a lot more entertaining. I didn't think I would like the gameplay but I ended up enjoying it. I just wish I didn't have to keep typing Open to open every door.

I think it's related to an audio issue the game has at the moment, try running it again and it should work.

Quite fun and the ship model looks good, the normal levels are a bit too slow and the camera motion when turning left/right gave me a little motion sickness, I think that camera motion should be a little more flat. The endless mode is the most fun part for me.

This has amazing potential, once the bugs and crashes are fixed I can see myself playing this for a ton of hours.

If you keep going with this after the jam this could make a great action combat platformer.

Hey sorry the server crashed earlier, it's slightly unstable...

Amazing pixel art and nice music, the combat was a bit slow paced and I think it'd be better if the combat was faster and involved more movement. I'd also love to have some platforming in the levels, the level art is so nice it'd be great to be able to climb all over it.

Hey are you interested in contract pixel art work?

Here's our mini interactive story game: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2020/rate/838807

I'm definitely thinking about turning it into a more fully featured game because I loved working on it, but I haven't had time to think about how to expand the content and game design scope. It was originally done in just 1 week for a game jam so it had very limited scope.

Hey thanks for the kind words =) Yeah there's a lot of quality of life changes I'd like to do like fixing that issue, it was made in only 1 week so it does have some polish problems and bugs.

This is a cool and interesting idea for a puzzle game.

An interesting idea and a pretty fun game, I kind of wish there was a speed option to turn up/down depending on what's happening.

Just copy pasting my tips in here because I think the first wave is quite difficult for new players but it's quite easy once you know how to start out:

Tips:

  • If you have nothing else selected, you can right click to move the war machine, move it close to metal and gas at the start as you need these the most
  • Put your first miners on metal and gas to help build more miners
  • Try to get to your miner limit as soon as possible, this starts at 20 and can go up to 35
  • Before the first enemy wave comes you should aim to have built a beam frigate or missile frigate and 4-5 fighters
  • The first wave is quite difficult until you figure out how to start and then it becomes a lot easier

Hey yeah sorry there was nothing in the settings menu for it but if you go to Assets/settings.xml you can change it there.

Nice little puzzle game but I wish you could hold down a key to move.

Never has a calculator had such an epic intro cinematic.

10/10 I agree with this very educational entry, windows is definitely better than linux.

This was a fun game but I also had trouble seeing when I was getting shot, I like the mechanic of bouncing shots around corners.

11/10 javid life simulator.

Really cool idea to add the subroutine feature and fun puzzles.

This game is awesome, I love the concept and the graphics. Very fun to play and if you added more levels I'd play it again for sure.

Very addictive mechanics but very brutal levels, once I started it I had to finish it though which makes it a good game. Also gets +1 extra rating for torturing moros.

I love the old school C&C vibe from this game and the gameplay itself is fun, I didn't really get what GFlops are for or if you really need them or not. This was a really cool way to use the theme and if you added more buildings and types of enemies it could be generally a good mobile game.

A cool idea with some good mechanics, it would be even better with more building and unit options.

Awesome game, it feels so much like an old school FPS with the movement animation and graphics etc.

This is really cool but I wish there was more to do and more tools/things to play with.

This game is a ton of fun to play.

The game is fun, graphics are cute but the music is the star, I love that music.

This is so much fun to play with, great job.

Wow that source code.
