It is very good game. I like the style but it need check points.
Is there two endings, i thought if you go to sleep it would have a 'boring' ending, but i try and could not sleep.
Maybe I didn't get far enough in the story but instead of a Future theme, I felt a little Linked to the Past.
Some tweaks could be made to combat timing and the character moves a tad slow. Music and sound adds a polished feel.
I like the music and pixel art, the combat was fun but feels a bit clunky.

The visuals are real nice, somewhere in between a Gameboy Color and a Gameboy Advance game. The controls are mapped a little weird - I would've preferred a WASD option. Screen transitions were a little glitchy in that if I was holding an arrow key down between rooms sometimes you'd get warped to the far side of the new room. Enemy hit boxes felt a little unreliable - especially on the boss. It would be nice if enemies had some chance to drop a health item or something.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah sorry about the controls. I’m left handed so it felt good to me while coding it. I should have considered the WASD controls. definitely some good feedback though. If I get the chance to work on this again I’ll definitely make most of those changes.
Awesome contribution. We've had a good time working through this. It's challenging and fun. The assets are incredibly nice too.
I feel like the typical Zelda bush heart drops would have helped us get through the cave, the response time on attacks is also a little too slow and can be almost frustrating, but otherwise this is a beast of a game.
If 14 year old me got this on the Gameboy Colour, I'd have been pleased.

Aah yes I should have put some heart drops in the bushes. I was a bit burned out by the end of development though. As for the attack response time. I’ll try and make it feel a bit more responsive when I get some more time to work on it.

I love the zelda vibe it gives, the sound effects are kinda loud tho. The controls are a bit slow, but overall, I love it! Very original

Nice game, but very hard . Is there a trick to beating the first boss? He's instantly killing me :>
thank you! Unfortunately the only trick is not to get hit LOL. He takes one heart damage per hit, so if you don’t make it there with more than one heart you can’t take a hit. The trick to get past the room with 3 zombies is to stand in the corner and keep slashing them away.

the game is safe to run. It happens because the executable is unrecognized by your antivirus.
