I enjoyed the premise of the game, it needed a bit more polish in sound and performance.
Thanks for your feedback!
Cool game! I liked the concept and the stories along the way were fun to read. The monster designs and the environment as also well done. Good job! :D
thanks!!
I don't know if it was just cmg, but the game crashes a lot in the browser. I confess that it took me a long time to leave the first cabin, thinking that the little monster that was on the ground was going to catch me, then I realized that they were following me, which brought relief hahaha
I liked the game, and the narrative, I think just making it smoother to run in the browser will save it. Anyway, congratulations!!
maybe for online is a bit heavy.. You can also download it but I will keep it in mind next time. Thanks for your feedback!
Yes, after I finished the game I realized that I had the excutable lol
- If you have time, check out our project ;D
Interesting take on the deadly sins, I wasn't expecting the ending!
I got a bit spooked when the first monster showed up, but then they ended up being lil pets I'd carry around lol The final monster's design is really cool as well!
Good stuff!
Thanks!!
A very unique and interesting game idea! I think the aesthetics worked pretty well and the atmosphere was definitely spooky. The voice over work was also really well done!
thank you very much!
Very nice!
A very solid short game. I liked the monster designs and the atmosphere of the game. The voice acting/voice over was a really nice touch, and good to see given how rare it is in game jam games. I liked the inclusion of the seven stories, they tied in well to the overall themes of the story itself and gave the game a bit of a folklore feel.
It would have been cool if the monster designs were changed up a little to reflect their sins, but I understand that thereβs only so much you can do in a week. My only other note be that if you look up it becomes pretty clear that every tree is the same model.
Well done!
thanks for playing my game ! i agree with your feedback. when i start the game i thought that the monsters shoud be like the sins but seven days is a short time to focus on this. maybe in sometime i will make improvments to the game. thanks a lot!
I loved the colour palette! the red really made it feel unsettling as well as the heart beating in the background that always gets me. The monster thing at the end jump scared me when it zoomed into his face LOL. Good work!
thanks a lot!
An interesting and strange game that eschews direct scares and explores a voyage of the damned. I think that's neat that the game's imagery and monsters follow you, not attacking you like in a conventional horror game - because let's face it, you become one of them. I like the twist that grounds meaning to the journey of the character and the temptations the player may not have realised they have already succumbed to. The little didactic stories in the books throughout set the tone of people ruined by those temptations, reinforcing the theme. Really cool!
thank you for playing the game! I'm glad when someone recognizes the meaning of the game
This game is cool! The ending got me good haha! It's really neat that you give the player a reason to replay and get rewarded. The little stories are pretty interesting too. The atmosphere of the game feels good overall too. Only other piece of feedback I have is if you come back to the project it might be good for things to be look a bit more polished, but it's still good and works as it is!
Great job!
Thanks! I agree that the visuals need improment but for the jam i made the basic Idea. Maybe I will make improvements sometime. Thanks for your time and your feedback!
That was a gem for me. You went all in with a story, a linear path, and original details such as the devils/sins following you but not killing you. Appreciate that you didn't bet everything into a single final jumpscare.
Would be banished to the Shadow Realm again. 10/10
Thanks! I wanted it to be different so I'm happy with what you say
If getting distracted sends you to hell, I'm in a bad place irl. D=
Great game though. =D
Lmao this was really cool. Could do with a good few visual tweaks, I would really reccommend learning to do fog, lighting and some post process work, as well as avoiding using the super shiney material you had under the trees.
Very funny, simple and clever though. I ended up going to hell which really got an unexpected lol out of me I really should have just followed the path like the title says. Nice writing, with all the sins and the books, then their little demons follow you around.
Good entry nice stuff
thanks!
I didn't have time to play with the visuals so I made the basic idea. but thanks for your suggestions i will think about them.
haha you got distracted!
