apologies - after the game was picked up by a publisher the demo was taken down and will be replaced once it is super polished and ready!

Not released yet - but there should be some news coming next month!

haha, thank you, im very flattered.

It's certainly something i'd like to explore after i get some other projects off my plate

assuming youre using a controller - three of the four face buttons are used to play notes (A,B,X on an X-box controller),
if youre using a keyboard - Space, K, L all play notes and have actions in the game.

Controls can be checked any time in game by pressing start (or enter) and tabbing over once, (right bumper, or "E" on the keyboard)

look closely at the notes, the heal song uses all 3 notes to play. low, high, and medium

careful of which notes you play - the gate opens when you are at full health

(1 edit)

Thank you!
At some point in the future I might re-explore this idea, I had a ton of fun making it!

thanks for playing!
I can promise the final game will be alot longer :P

if you're using the keyboard controls:
WASD - move
SPACE BAR - jump/note1
K - attack/note2
L - dodge roll/note3
E (held) - Prepare flute/ tab right menu control
ENTER - Menu
Q - left tab over menu control

These can be checked anytime in game by pressing ENTER and then pressing "E" to tab over tot he controls

thanks!!

thanks! this is awesome!

Thank you for the feedback! This is all rally good stuff and thanks for playing :)
Definitely going to experiment with some slight movement when attacking, I agree it can feel stiff at times!

Thank you for the feedback! This is some very helpful stuff. The flying enemies can definitely use some work in terms of balancing, I know how annoying they can get!
Definitely going to take a look at those bugs as well as add some iframes for events when the character movement gets frozen

Nice! congrats!

glad you liked it

The note found in the space port gives a hint:
... LIVING INSIDE STILL, HENRY LURKS ...

consider which specific organs you can place, try to keep the names of them in mind as you read the note

Awesome! Checking it out now!

Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
I'll take a look at these things as I work on the first patch

thank you!

yes - you can save at the red computers in the game, granted you have a save-disc item (two are beside the save station at the start of the game, shortly after the first enemy)

this is sick dude

Thanks! Really means alot to me you came back to it

Absolutely killer - very authentic sounding

nice little maze game! well done, i liked the music

Really tough controls! But big points to you for thoroughly explaining them! so many other games just toss you into the deep end and it can be really confusing/frustrating. although your game was very difficult - i at least understood what i was supposed to do.

not 64x64, but a nice little game none the less

so outside of the story.... I think the game could use with a rebalancing of pace. the character movement, the melee attack and the zombies themselves all move incredibly slowly. this makes those long stretches of nothing really feel their length. I think a sprint button or just increasing the speed on all these things would go a long way - I'd also like to comment on the gun/ammo. Throughout my playtime I'm not sure if i found any ammo crates - leaving me to just melee things. Shooting is fun! The game should incentive and encourage me to shoot first and ask questions later. I think more ammo would be great! Overall a very solid entry - the sprite work and backgrounds looked great tool!

great job! I think a little more juice in the game would go a long way to conveying a bit more information - in addition i think some things like being able to drop down the platform you're on would also help make the game a little smoother. Overall this was a lot of fun and a great entry! the music was very pleasant!

very difficult game! Great job though, looked and sounded very good!

wow those are some tough zombies! i think some difficulty tweaking and adjustments to things like screenshake and camera would go along way. plus some sound. Great gamefeel though

jeez are they quick! i liked the different tools you had at your disposal in order to catch the prisoners, my only critique is to give them a more erratic running pattern instead of just a straight line away from you. well done!

not exactly 64x64 but a decent little game none the less. I think some variation in traps instead of button/death every time would really improve the experience. other than that i think the art was nice and the atmosphere was very fitting. great job!

this was a neat little experience, some crunchier gameplay would have really made this a stand out pick. I liked the music, character design, and atmosphere!

great atmosphere and color palate! Really well polished and a great game! awesome job

neat little game! nice, simplified mechanics, and a great soundtrack to top it off! Good job!

correct! the difficulty could start low/slow and ramp up/speed up instead of staying consistent throughout.

This was great! A top contender if not THE top, for sure! Love all the little details and love you put into the small stuff, just for fun, like the golf cart interactions/swimming/environment. my critique would be it was a little tough at first to get the hang of, but that's alright. sometimes you score a 9 on your first hole in real life, haha.

Was the helicopter pad just for show? did something special happen if I hit a ball on it?
Also hitting the "D" key seemed to bring up a debug screen, which I did and took a moment to figure out what happened.

great idea! a simple game with an addicting loop. my only critique would be maybe the difficulty can curve a bit more - other than that super stellar entry!

decent music and visuals! I think giving the player more options from the get-go would be a great reason to play it a couple times before racking up enough coins for the shop. i also got overwhelmed rather easily, but overall nice entry and a good job!

neat game!

A very solid entry! Music and sound was good, art was efficient, and information was communicated effectively. well done!
