I love games like these, and this is a very interesting one! I know other people have commented about the bug(that always left me disappointed) and show deck always showing all cards, but based off the idea alone this is great all around. Very impressive for 48 hours! The strategies I was trying to come up with were fun like trying to make a deck only a few elements as possible. Some RNG balancing would help a lot, for example when you get a choice of portals having them be more evenly spread across elements instead of getting 3 fire portals and 1 rock. The connection with the theme is a bit weak but that gets a pass from me, I had a blast.

Please do notify me if you do a post-jam version with fixes! Would love to play it!

Heya, yeah, that was our initial aim - to have random options to make as hilarious a dialogue as possible. We wanted to have fun with the jam and just make dumb stuff without getting too caught up in actual game design and the technicalities that come with it. The whole match-the-type for the adventurer was, to be honest, only an afterthought.

Thank you! That was the intention behind it!

Hey, after finding out that was the last level, I went back and finished it! It was great!

The randomization doesn't work well all the time, so you can just reload until you get an easy setup. Being able to drag a placed piece would be nice. Good idea, though!

That was a great little point and click experience!

Fun gameplay! Played for a while, but since fire is so quick to reload I could abuse it for getting past everything. Had a weird bug where I could see Ice and Fire on the book at the same time after a while. In any case, good entry!

Can't play :(

Wow, it was very hard to get past even the first level, especially because I didn't realize at first that the instructions were pre-planned, and I had the reload the game lots of times because the number of boxes I had kept changing(I kept ending up with less then I started with)

I'm not able to play.

Can't get past the player enter screen since I have no gamepad at the moment :(

Had fun playing it, but couldn't get past this part, very difficult!

The level was frustratingly big compared to the camera space, I had a very hard time navigating! The control scheme has some potential, with you trying to save the cursor as well as some player, could be expanded upon.

Wacky idea, but I'm not sure if my attacks or even enemy attacks were having any effect. Good effort.

Wow, placing the pins was hard, especially how to bounce them around if you miss placing one in the path. Getting the ball to hit every pin is satisfying, but not sure if it has any effect or just makes the game go longer? Had some strange bounces happen where a wall would bounce the pin back in the reverse direction instead of reflecting. Overall, fun concept, but a bit on the frustrating side as you try to correct the misplaced pins.

God, I never thought trying to lose would be so frustrating. Great job portraying the annoying lil' bro. Loved the whole presentation, ahahah.

Couldn't get past level 4 :(

Simple and sweet, dialogue was funny at times. That bill to the boss xD
Movement was very floaty, and somehow I don't think the wall stickiness was intended?
This made me a bit nostalgic, feels so much like a "first jam game". I wish you luck in all your future jams!

Congratulations, you managed to make me have fun while killing innocent frogs gruesomely.

Was totally lost at first. But suddenly, it started making sense and I was hooked until I actually finished it! I wish there was a better way to reset a messed up board. Completed 2 games, but one of the times I didn't get the win face popup.

Very strange idea, didn't think it was the fog of war's job to restore the map - my whole perspective has changed O__O

This was...amazing! I had so much fun, replayed it a bunch of times even after finishing to explore all the mechanics. Never adding bot detection again >:|

Creative, simple and fun. Full marks for creativity! Only thing that could be better was the movement, it was  a bit on the difficult-to-control side, especially when you pick up speed. The art, it's so minimalistic and yet the characters ooze quirkiness! Love it.

Very challenging at the start, no clue what was happening, but slowly got used to it and started having fun.  The only thing that felt unintuitive was clicking to dash but it happens in the direction the fish is facing and not where you click. Oh, and holding right click gave some weird results. Love the visuals, btw! My best score was 11.

Surprisingly fun mix of puzzle and arcade. I gave up at level 6, haha. Enjoyed it a lot, the only complain I have is that aiming AT the planet by clicking at a position around the planet felt very unintuitive.

Nice idea, funny name, lol. Had fun with this, though I fell off the map at some point and won by accident.

Now THIS is a game with a lot of personality! Impressive atmosphere, full points for aesthetics.
I got stuck at the door loop too!
(btw this made me check your your other games, great stuff mate)

Probably the nicest looking game I've played so far, great work on the art direction! Gameplay is simplistic but fun, and the visual connection to "It's not supposed to do that" is funny.
Great entry, and good luck!

Great puzzle platforming mechanics. Connection with the theme was a bit tenuous but incredible level of polish. Had a great time playing, good work!
