Yaaaay congratz for finishing and thanks for the feedback!
I also noticed that you tried to develop/build it for WebXR, could you tell me more about it ? Why this decisions ?
R: Yep! I wanted to build something more democratized and easy to access, I've limited myself to a lot of things to have good performance... HOWEVER, I've used some async methods and this destroyed the final result since the WebGL export doesn't work correctly with those, I figured that out later only. Well, I'll change the logic to use Coroutines and see if that fixes the sync issues, and hopefully, I'll be able to deploy the WebXR version.
Thanks, CrazyFish!
I've added support to Valve Index in a post-jam update (v1.1). If you want to give it another try check it out: https://protofun.itch.io/webxr-dollhouse-escape
Wow... just wow! Of all the others games I've played from the jam, this was the one the hooked me up the most! Very well polished, loved the musics, transitions, biomes... I've found a way to cheat by accident during the last dungeon, but in return, if you don't clean up the enemy party, they hit you in the same way hahahah
Congratulations!
Fun puzzle platformer! The tutorial was specially good. The music, sounds and other little details surely added to the experience. I just feel the camera could look a lil bit ahead of the character depending on which is the direction we are looking at (left or right). I guess you are using cinemachine, it's pretty straightforward to do that.
Congrats for the game!
The armor is your health, when you take a certain amount of damage you start to loose the pieces. The initial idea was to create some mix of battle and puzzle, I have created a whole mechanic to possess and loose armor pieces respecting priorities and stuff. But the clock ticked too fast and I had to stick with the combat only.
Thanks for playing!
Hey there ntoheuns, good to know you wanted to explore the forest, the initial idea was to make it more explorable, but my time budget was becoming thin, I had to create colliders so you don't go into a black area of nothingness. It feels great to me that part of the idea of challenging the player to explore was achieved. Thanks for the feedback!
