It's an interesting spin on flappy bird but it's way too hard. The first obstacle for me is usually the purple stones rotating with only 1 small hole in them, and it's very hard to fly through.
Definitely could use an easier beginning so that the players can get into a bit of a groove before the harder obstacles come.
I hate the game! Not because it's bad in any means, but because I'm physically unable to play this, after 20-30 tries I was able to make 20 points. After 2 fast clicks on mid-screen, you crash. After 4-5 when you bottom you crash. One question, did you made this game for 2 jams at once? :D
yeah, there were a couple jams going on in the period where I made this, so I decided to enter it in a few of them. I mostly made it for this jam, though.
Well executed flappy game style with the cool addition of shooting. I would suggest making the shots more powerful as this is the main thing that sets it apart from other flappies.
Great use of the art assets and nice polish.
Very polished flappy style game. I know it's set in space, but I think a bit more gravity would probably help keep me from being smeared on the ceiling! XD Was fun though! Great work!
Great game but the momentum killed me. Might be me sucking at flappy games but it made movement unpredictable for me.
That was the only thing bothering me though
Before the jam ended, I gave myself an extra challenge to submit my game to the google play store, and it finally got approved! If you have an android device, you can now download it directly from here:

Good game! But I'm kinda bad at Flappy bird like games ToT
I love how you mixed Flappy Bird and Sidescroller shooters!
I suck at Flappy Bird so I don't know if it was me or that the collision was too unforgiving.
Cool game!
This was an excellent evolution on the flappy style game. Really solidly executed!
Nice flappy game and the combat was a lot smoother than I was expecting it to be. The way you accelerate downwards was pretty interesting and made it easier to fly in a straight line but much harder to go down to the bottom after being nearer the top. Really fun game though and the background was beautiful :)
Hey nice flappy game!
i like how you mix combat and flappy bird.
umm though you could always optimize controls (maybe setting aim for mouse point?, just my personnal opinion)
Good stuff^^
This is actually kind of designed as a mobile game, so I wanted to keep inputs simple. Although, I agree that aiming isn't the most intuitive thing, since it's based off of your rotation, which is based off your velocity.
haha better than flap bird imo, nice work!
Best flappy bird style game I've played yet. I like any game that does multiple things with one input. I wonder what the best way to expand on this is while still only keeping one input. Power ups seem like the most basic step.
Really clever use of the asset pack, taking it into the Sci-Fi direction instead of sticking with the basic fantasy stuff. Simple, but well done, and that counts for a lot.
Flappy bird meets space shooter. It is really hard or i am only bad at this game. Visuals and sound is good. Funny little game. :)
Nice game! Reminds me of Flappy Bird but with some extra mechanics. I wasn't able to get very far I'm not too good at this style of game hehe
Cool idea for a game, like flappy bird with shooting. It was kind of hard to get through the small gaps between wormholes, maybe some kind of difficulty ramp up would be good, but overall great polished looking game!
Great mechanic! With more polish and a progression system I would have it installed on my phone!
Glad you liked it! :)
I'm actually looking into uploading it to the google play store to make it a bit easier to install on phones.
I wish there was something to spend the gems on. The gameplay was fun though, very polished!
Also, I found myself REALLY wishing there was a back button on the ship select screen. I would accidentally click play and then have no way to go back to the main menu.
You can actually go back to the main menu by clicking quit in the pause menu in game. But I guess that maybe could be labeled better, and probably would be nice in the ship screen. I thought about doing something more with gems, but I didn't have enough time, so I decided to just make them give a nice score increase.
Cool game! The difficulty ramps up a bit fast for me.
