Thanks! Yes, not a lot of focus on the boss per se ;) It's in the plan :) There are 2 wind indicators - the leaves blowing and the smoke of the bonfire ;)

Thanks for playing and the kind words <3

Thanks! First time someone recognized the Wilhelm scream :D You'd win my award :D

Really lovely game. I am not even a fan of pixel games, but this was really good. Especially loved the music, absolutely gorgeous. Keep it up!

It was pretty interesting. I really liked the idea of the charging pads and the visuals. I don't know if it was my resolution, but I had a bit of a hard time seeing what's around me, I think I would've preferred if the player camera was a bit more zoomed out. The game crashed one time for me and actually crashed my browser, which I don't think I've ever had happened from a WebGL game :) Overall great stuff, keep it up!

Thanks! Yeah, I think I'll revisit the visibility of the platforms a bit, which will hopefully help with seeing skellies better.  Thanks for playing <3

I'll review yours shortly.

Thanks :) And you are right, I should've put more emphasis on the boss/es. I did realize I made it a bit too easy for the jam. I think I was worried about making it too hard and people not having fun. Thanks for playing <3

I'll test yours shortly!

Oh wow, that's a bummer. Were you trying it on a mobile device or a PC?

Really liked the art and the music. I couldn't figure out the controls for the life of me. I managed to do a bit of moves right, but overall probably a skill issue :D I also got it bugged one time, if you select the pad first and then the moves, the game doesn't progress and you have to restart it. Overall, great job!

Would love it if you can play and review my submission, thanks! <3

Really interesting design. First time I got bullied by a worm :D Keep it up!

Would love it if you can play and review my submission, thanks! <3

I really tried, but couldn't figure this out. Seems like I am punching, but the charge didn't work and I don't think I was doing any damage. Maybe I am doing something wrong. The art style looks really cool though!

Would love it if you can play and review my submission, thanks! <3

Really wanted to try and this as it looks really cool, but can't find enough people to play :|

Loved that game. Very original and I really liked the different boss mechanics. The last one was definitely the best in my opinion. I think the controls got bugged for me on the last one, as I wasn't able to toss anything, but managed to still kill him. I think the difficulty can be even harder, because I am not very good at these and got all levels on my first try. Great game overall. Keep it up!

Thanks for playing! <3 Will play and review yours shortly.

Thanks a lot for the detailed review! Last jam I accidentally made my game super hard, so I think I was trying to err on the other side of things, but I did realize that I made it a bit too easy :) I was contemplating between procedural levels and manually designed ones for the jam and decided on the former. Already have a lot of ideas and some great feedback like yours that will give me a lot of work to do and expand the game. Thanks for playing <3

Awww, that's the nicest thing anyone has every said! Thanks! But we all have a chance! (I've also played games here that I think I think are better than mine ;) ) Thanks for playing and the kind words! <3

Ah, don't worry you'll quickly get better. There is a slight learning curve. Thanks for playing <3

Oh no! Are you trying it on a PC? I know it can run on an ipad, but it was really made for pc at this stage.

Cool little mario-style game :) I don't know why I am so bad at this, but took me like 4 tries to get to the boss. Jump, jump...immediately smashed by a giant orange :D Oh, the injustice! Good stuff though! Keep it up!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

Most original game so far. Loved the art, and I mean it! I think the UI can be improved a bit. Also I noticed sometimes the spinning won't push the little enemies back. Couldn't figure out if it's a bug or me not understanding the controls well. Great game though, keep it up!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

Loved the visuals and the music, super old school, reminded me a bit of Cowboy Bebop for some reason :) I tried a bunch of times, but I am too weak, could never get the boss :| Skill issue :D Well done though, keep it up!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

That looked like fun. really liked the visual! For some reason I kept getting bugged after dying, where my character was invisible and I couldn't access the menu. Otherwise pretty cool! Well done!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

Aww, thank you <3 And thanks for playing!

Yeah, I think they stand out a bit more in the night mode, but definitely something I was wondering about. I have a long list of improvements :) Thanks for playing <3

One of the best games I played so far. Really well designed and a great idea. Absolutely loved the cat. Just love ridiculous games :) Well done!

Would love it if you can play and review my submission, thanks!

Just love the idea of this game! Reminds me of several turn based battle games from like 20-30 years ago! I think a bit more instructions and some better feedback in the UI would be beneficial, but honestly keep working on that. Your game has great potential! Well done!

Would love it if you can play and review my submission, thanks!

Thanks for playing <3 I believe in you!

Thanks :) Was aiming for something a bit funny and relaxing :) Thanks for playing <3

Yes, there is definitely a bit of a learning curve. The wind is also stronger on higher difficulties, so it makes things harder. Btw I also added a Wilhelm scream when they are falling, was wondering if anyone will notice :D Thanks for playing! <3

The only "Boss" for now :)
There are higher level mobs in the higher difficulties. But thinking about adding more mechanics. Thanks for playing! <3

Yeah, I figured the connecting part, maybe just the order wasn't clear, or at least there wasn't a visual indicator that it worked.
Thanks!

I loved the idea of this game. Second game I try here that reminds me a lot of the board game Galaxy Trucker. I couldn't figure out how to connect some of the parts. Like the ones that are supposed to augment the projectiles. I tried before the shooter, separately...nothing. I think it needs better in-game explanation or something in the tutorial. Great game though, I think you can definitely take this further! Well done, keep it up!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

Love the visuals. Really took me back and reminded me of the King of Dragons old school game. Audio was also on point. Well done!

Would love it if you can test and review my submission, thanks!

Thank you! I am glad you've had fun! <3

Thanks for playing! <3

You can choose the end point. It's described in the tutorial, but it's basically the closest tangential point between where you click and the circle that the catapult arms makes. There is a bit of a learning curve. I am sure you can get the dragon after a few tries. Also keep a note of the wind that affects the projectiles.

Thanks for playing! And yes, glad to hear, I made that dragon from scraps and hand-animated it :D

Glad you had fun <3

Thanks for playing! Originally I had the option to switch to Ball mode as part of the Pause settings, but I moved it, as I felt they are very different. There is no boss per se, but there are harder mobs on the higher difficulties. Planning on re-doing the way the gameplay works and adding more mobs. Thanks for the feedback <3

(1 edit)

Loved this game. The idea is so unique and matches the theme so well! Also loved the creepy design and the music, the boss kind of reminded me of the Mr. Katz from Courage the cowardly dog. I did find it a bit hard to control or maybe the table spins a bit too fast for me. [skill issue :D] Overall great job, keep it up!

Thanks for playing! And thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it. That's exactly what I was going for, I think most of my games are typically more intense and I really wanted something more chill and relaxing :)

Thanks <3

Thanks for playing! Yes, it's on my list. There are more enemies on the higher difficulty settings, but I have a few ideas on how to spice things up :)

Thanks <3
