I completely get it!  I'm still working on my composing skills as well. You did really well with the time limit!

This was too tough for me lol.  Maybe if the characters had faster movement or as other people suggested a dash would be great.  Maybe both? Art, sound, and music was great though!

Super cool idea! My only complaint is that I spend more time tying to find a non-destroyed recharger then fighting the boss. My suggestion would be to add an ability that forces the player to stay still, but quickly fills the energy meter, maybe twice as fast as the chargers do now.

This was super cool!  The music was fitting, if a bit simple, and there were times when I wasn't sure if the UI was in the wrong spot, but this is very impressive for just a month's worth of work! I can't imagine the time it took to make all of these drawings!

This is fantastic!  The game seems more about managing your ball then the boss itself, but that's still really cool! Animation and art is super cute as well! I played the web version do I don't know if there's supposed to be sound or not, but even without it it still felt great to play!

Fun, but very easy!  Music, sound, and art were fantastic, and the story was cute.  The subtitles for the third boss intro were incorrect, but other than that and the easy difficulty, well done!

Fun for the little bit I played it.  I personally don't think the controls are an issue, if you've played a MOBA you know how to play this, though a WASD option would be good for those that want it! Sprites are fantastic, and the music, while simple, is fitting. The only thing I have to say is that your camera should be parented the character, not the scissor pointer, I got fairly motion sick from that. Great job!

Fun game!  Once I realized you needed energy to throw plates, it started to make more sense. I was in a standoff with seemingly no way out for a while lol. I do feel like you need the infinite energy to make meaningful progress though, especially in the last fight, otherwise he heals too quickly. Otherwise, fun game!

Great music and spritework! There definitely needs to be some tuning on the spin attack, the first two bosses I just pressed spin once and watched like an old DVD display lol. The gnome needed some thought though (very Gravity Falls of you!).

Really cool take on the theme!  As others have mentioned the infinite heal...feature(?) lol.  I didn't really like the bosses having a hitbox when you ran into them, but that may just be a "git gud" on my part.  Music's great, sprites are great, and the movement's almost there, a double jump seemed to make sense. Overall, I definitely had the "one more try" bug for a while there. Great job!

Interesting concept! Controls were a bit odd, would have preferred Q/E instead of Z/X, and it's not immediately clear that the top of the ship is your "pen" and the bottom is your hurtbox, but once I got all that understood, I enjoyed it.  Great atmosphere and art style. Got to the second boss, so not very far, but what I played was fun!

We originally had 5 heroes and 5 enemies that we were going to have for the jam, but ran out of time.  We came up with a LOT more then that though.
