Thank you , consider following if you want to see what becomes of this game because I am planning on finishing it.

I have code for player animations and it works well so with a bit of time I can easily add a build with character animations and on placeholder art with another area and another boss as well.

I did make assets for overworld areas that I wasn't able to put in the demo , and here's what that looks like.

It's not a bug that you didn't die I just forgot to add a death mechanic , you see this game is actually the project that I made for brackeys game jam which was during the same month , during the last week I took that project and made it into this but I forgot to add what happens when you die.

I only had half a month for this that's why I couldn't make art and animations for it , I have code for them , and I also wasted a few days making assets that I ended up not putting in this demo :'( .

But that's too many excuses I can do better next time.

Thank you for the feedback , I am planning to finish this game for Super MVM and I will add way more variety to the enemies then especially with all of the boss stuff that I made since the system is very modular and flexible.

Thanks for the tool I did reassign  controls except for left input for some reason it doesn't register . but for a workaround ds4 windows does the job so I can play with normal controls.

Great game I loved it and it looks fantastic.

I feel like it's inspired by fromsoft works and it nails the feel and vibe of those games.

Nice game the art is very good and catchy , I like the music tho it went silent all of a sudden.

I like the idea and the progression and the level design.

I don't like how the dialogue autoskips itself I don't read that fast , and tips box takes too much screen space.

It's does have a lot of bugs it's clip city in there and the character controller doesn't feel very good it feels kinda clunky at times (sorry Tarodev).

Thank you for playing and for your feedback , I do have a camera sensitivity option in code it's just that I didn't have the time to put it in the settings , and I also didn't know that I only have 24 hours to fix bugs so it will be like that till next version for Super MVM.

Thank you for your feedback , I will get to work on that camera and make it at least less jarring if nothing else.

Of course I forgot to add death mechanic , it's always the thing that stares at me right in the face that I be oblivious to.

I also have menu music but I ran out of time to make a main menu , but I am confident I will finish this one for Super MVM.

I also don't have a ps5 I only have the controller :'(  ^_^.

If you mean the face buttons then they are numbered like so : from 1 to 4 Square - Cross _ Circle _ Triangle , the opposite of what they be on pc controllers.

It's either I have some bug or that the game is ambiguous as hell , I straight up can't progress further than the very start of the game , I go to the thing that tells you to go down but where and how ? there is only death pits and I can't double jump and there was that one illusary wall at the beginning that had nothing in it.

Also the d-pad is mapping wrong on ps5 controller for some reason.

But I will say though this is most likely a bug and the game looks promising .

My feedback on the art is add more ambient perspective to background elements make them desaturated and lower their contrast , they get mixed up with foreground elements.

Lovely game I loved it and will keep an eye on it.

Make the transition of the camera much faster , it's very slow for a game where the main mechanic is to do that.

Good game , it has good mechanics and it's fun and has good visuals.

I found a few bugs and one was game breaking so I quit came back and doesn't save so that's where I stopped.

the first room with the jellyfish the player is not visible and I die when I stay still in a platform , I cleared it by moving without stopping (I thought the stalactytes fall on the player and I can't see them), though it could be a bug something like that would work really well for this game it was fun clearing that area.

I was backtracking from where I got the grapple and when I passed through the entrance The scene loaded with the character stuck inside a wall (I am geussing it should be impossible to go back ther but you didn't adjust the hight of the wall properly and you just jump over it).

Cool game the art is absolutely fantastic keep up the good work.
I am only concerned about the death mechanic if it's not going to become extremely annoying down the line (because it already kind of is a little bit in the demo) , so consider adding hit points and restarting from a set position in the same screen.

Very cool game I loved it , haven't beat the boss yet but I will get around to it .

If I was to change one thing about it though I would give the flying saucer enemies a little window where they can't damage you when they spaw.

One suggestion if it's not implemented yet is to make bullets deal more damage if they are fired individually.

 And I am most likely going to update this game in the future.

 And it's also inspired by another project i have been working on that will be much more stable.
