Hey, props for making a 3D game, even with the basic assets. Those VFX were cool! Maybe think about adding a sensitivity setting for the mouse aiming? Oh, and I had this weird thing where after checking out the settings, I couldn't aim anymore and had to restart. Just a heads up. But overall, solid effort!

Great job, especially with the boss! So many crazy cool attacks, definitely felt very intimidated. Would love to see this with non-placeholder models and animations!

Thank you , consider following if you want to see what becomes of this game because I am planning on finishing it.

I have code for player animations and it works well so with a bit of time I can easily add a build with character animations and on placeholder art with another area and another boss as well.

I did make assets for overworld areas that I wasn't able to put in the demo , and here's what that looks like.

Neat prototype. I seemed to be invincible at 1 HP, so clearing the boss wasn't much of a bother. I need to say though that it felt long even being invincible, so being under actual pressure would probably be eternal haha. Appreciate the visuals and the variety of enemies. Nice one!

Thank you for playing.

It's not a bug that you didn't die I just forgot to add a death mechanic , you see this game is actually the project that I made for brackeys game jam which was during the same month , during the last week I took that project and made it into this but I forgot to add what happens when you die.

I only had half a month for this that's why I couldn't make art and animations for it , I have code for them , and I also wasted a few days making assets that I ended up not putting in this demo :'( .

But that's too many excuses I can do better next time.

Nice start for a game, I liked the different enemy types and the boss was a good challenge. I especially liked that I was able to defeat it after losing all my health lol. Good start to a game!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback , I am planning to finish this game for Super MVM and I will add way more variety to the enemies then especially with all of the boss stuff that I made since the system is very modular and flexible.

Love the concept I would have loved a camera sensitivity option it was a bit much for me. I really like the idea of a bullet hell metroidvania good job :)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback , I do have a camera sensitivity option in code it's just that I didn't have the time to put it in the settings , and I also didn't know that I only have 24 hours to fix bugs so it will be like that till next version for Super MVM.

A nice little 3d metroidvania with a boss battle at the end. I enjoyed the 3d aspects with the dark rooms and neon lighting, I would of enjoyed having some music playing during the first part but the boss music is good. I did have issues with the camera jarring to the left/right after defeating an enemy or moving to far from the boss and losing lock on which is disorienting. Also I lost all my health during the boss fight but was able to continue and finish.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback , I will get to work on that camera and make it at least less jarring if nothing else.

Of course I forgot to add death mechanic , it's always the thing that stares at me right in the face that I be oblivious to.

I also have menu music but I ran out of time to make a main menu , but I am confident I will finish this one for Super MVM.
