Hi Sven! A little late from us, I apologise! But, we're at a place where we are ready to share updates now, so we've got a discord invite link here if you're still interested in following progress: https://discord.gg/hcV65JNnsw

Hi everyone! We've decided to take the game and expand upon it further! We're in a place now where we are ready to share updates on what we've been working on, so if you're interested, come join us on discord! Here's an invite link: https://discord.gg/hcV65JNnsw

We're working on a full game as we speak! We're glad you enjoyed the game and we hope to see you for the full release!

we're glad you enjoyed it all the way through!

Thanks a bunch! That makes us really happy to hear <3

thanks a bunch for taking the time to play!

<3

Agreed with the death camera! Thanks for playing :)

We're really glad you liked it! thanks :D

I don't believe there's anyway to prevent people from giving 1 stars sadly. And I don't believe you can see who rated your game and what score they gave as all this is anonymous. Hope that helps!

Thanks a bunch for the high praise! We really appreciate reviews like these as they help us understand better where our game, and future ones, can be improved!

I loved sneaking behind enemies and just one punch to know them down. Felt very powerful. The enemies shooting arrows are quite tough to get close to but still possible unless there's a couple aiming for you , in which case.. RUN!

Great submission!

Absolutely. That's what of the things we were worries about the most. If we had a little more time we would have loved to add in some more obstacles and enemies.

super charming and peaceful! I was happily surprised by the difficulty of choosing what tiles to place where for the maximum score. Found myself trying quite a few times to find that perfect combination. Music and sound effects are delightful too!

Great submission :D

Thanks for the in depth review, high praise and the improvement suggestions! Much appreciated :D

Always a big fan of puzzle games in these jams. The theme always make the puzzle maker think up very interesting mechanics! Really liked the progression of new blocks, I thought it added some great depth to the puzzling aspect. My only issue I had was that I sometimes didn't know which direction to move in because of the perspective! But that might be down to my bad eyesight!

Mood is set really well with the music and sound effects. Loved the idea of the player being this inanimate floating object. Gave me lots of "Ori and the blind forest" vibes from the aesthetics. Best thing I could suggest for this game would be an in-game counter and perhaps a timer to see how long the player has survived for.

Great submission!

Hahahaha, this was such a really cool entry! Had fun and a hearty laugh too! Never did I expect to see a "warioware" type game in a gamejam, but I love it and I would have played this for way longer if there had been more minigames.

Well done on this standout entry!

apologies! I must have missed it and it must have been off by default. i have modified my review to reflect this!

Love the minimalist and pixel-y art-style. Always a treat to play a game like this. One thing I really missed from this one though was some sound effects or music!

(1 edit)

My heart rate escalated once that music came in and the enemies appeared haha. Love a good cat game! A suggestion from me would be to maybe add an in game guide as I'm sure some people might skip the guide button and head straight into the game!

Congrats on your entry!

A really underrated entry! Great to see so much detail. Every weapon had it's own reload time and it was really cool to see you'd implemented a difficulty slider with this one too. Really well done! My only issue with the game was the enemy's death sound was a bit too loud, but that's all.

Congrats!

That's a shame! We haven't heard of any issues with the grappling hook, so perhaps it is the trackpad? But, that shouldn't be the case.. Apologies for that!

Oh wow! Definitely not intended that.. Thanks for playing!

I love that dying means we return as another character some time later! A great little touch than just re-spawning. I also like the level layout, linear but with plenty of platforming to keep me on my toes. The only thing i was missing was some hit feedback/ nockback on myself and enemies so that I knew when I was hit or who I hit.

A great submission! Well done <3

Hahaha, Brilliant, I'd read it.

really cute platformer with some great music and sound effects to go with it. I always love when a jam platformer has coyote timer and jump buffer in there because it makes the platforming experience 10 times better. Well done on this one. One think I would note though, is that it was quite tough to manage to climb the ladders. Sometimes the rabbit would climb and others not?

This game looks so beautifully peaceful. The music accompanying makes it even more enticing. Everything in the UI is easily accessible and visible, making it easy to know what to do. Only thing I was missing from this one was maybe some sound effects for some of the actions, like cutting a plant, or planting a new one.

Great submission!

As the comment below mentioned I built myself a little force field of persistent bullets that kept me protected until one came from below and sniped me! Really loved this one as the persistent bullets made it really interesting and engaging! Congrats on your entry!

Music was really nice and fitting and the progression through the level felt quite nice and naturally built! I did think the movement was a little too floaty and had too much momentum after I stopped moving. but, this are minor points to a well rounded parkour experience! Great job :)

Loved the simple UI and colours. The collecting sound effect was perfect. Only thing to note was that some of the blobs aren't possible to collect when going from one side to the other. I saw in your description that you spend half the time jumping from one idea to the next, but I still think this turned out great. Keep it up and on to the next!

No, there's not any Easter eggs but that would have been really cool! We'll pocket that idea for the next game!

Thanks for such an in depth review! These are always a joy to read :). We appreciate your kind words <3

lovely pixel art and satisfying audio to accompany! Great job. There was a lot of detail and gameplay mechanics packed into this game for something made in just a week! So a very good job with it. One thing I did notice was that I couldn't Fullscreen the game? It didn't stop me from playing at all though so it's a very minor issue!

I loved that the twist was that we become the boss enemy and have to fight against our previous player. What a great use of the theme! Very well done on this one :)

I am notoriously terrible at horror games as I scare far too easily. This game definitely fit the bill! The atmosphere and the aesthetics were spot on and the animations were very smooth!

Congrats on a great entry! Hope too see this game start to get more reviews.

satisfying audio, chill vibe with the graphics and some polished golfing mechanics! Loved this one.

Well done, keep it up!

As has been said, audio would have been a huge boost for the game, as the graphics are really well done, and the shooting hit feedback with the enemies getting pushed back is also really nice! One thing that I really did miss was an auto reload! If I had that then the gunplay would have been really nice!

Great submission and hope to see this game get some more reviews!

You just said the 2 things we actually did discuss during development haha. the crew members returning and running out of people to sacrifice! In the end we scrapped the ideas :/. Also, the level is hand draw. Would have been really nice to get this randomly generated, but that's a whole other beast to tame!

Hi! Gave this one a go as the art and cover caught my eye :) and it was a really fun game! I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews! The only thing I wasn't sure about was what to do after the third frog token I got? I pressed to transform and nothing happened, so I wasn't sure if that was the end of the game perhaps? Anyway, aside from that, really great graphics and audio to accompany the game!

Great submission!
