Thanks! This problem was mentioned by many, yeah. Sadly didn't have time to add checkpoints. Not the best solution, but in the settings you can turn off damage and skip first rooms by ignoring all the attacks!

Thank you! Wdym, take away the shield? You get it every time you attack, for 1 second. Didn't have time to explain that in game, sadly.

Tried to run it, but got just a black screen with some music...

Idk about that, took me over 30 minutes of playtime, while having like 5 minutes of actual content.

The ending was good, but OMFG, the rest of the game is way too slow. After 20 logs I was barely interested, after 25 I said to myself that if 30 isn't last one then I'm just closing the game. The whole gameplay feels like it is there just to artificially slow down the player so they don't see it too fast, and it's horrible.

Thanks! IIRC, the time for hit is like 1/6 of a seconds into both sides of sound (so 0.166... second before tick and same amount after), but I'm not sure if I didn't break something and accidently made it just 1/3 of a second after sound...

Thanks! Seems that lack of checkpoints is the main problem here, lol. Didn't have time to do it, but at least I made the invincibility setting so u can skip the rooms u want to skip.

P.s. There's a bug that u have to turn on invincibility after game begun, not in the main menu and not during first tips.

I think the final boss is a huge difficulty spike, so that might be a problem there. Time to press the it is 1/3 of a second iirc, so that should be fine.

Thanks! Actually this was intended to be a rhythm game, so you can hear when you attack without looking at the indicator.

Can't download this in itch.io app, "No compatible versions found".

I don't think it's allowed. Honestly not sure why the problem even is there, I've played some other submissions made with Godot... oh wait, I need full Vulcan support for it, I think I don't have that.

Yea, I think the last fight is a huge difficulty spike cuz I didn't have enough time there, honestly. As well as time for adding checkpoints. I might update the game later, but honestly not sure if I will.

Very cute and fun game, nice!

Could you please change the default state of window? It takes like 1.5 monitors for me and I can't move it T~T, and worst of all, canvas is partially on both monitors.

Forgot to say here, played and rated, pretty cool idea u got there!

Here's what it says in the rule:

  • While you can use pre-existing code or assets, refrain from writing code or creating assets specifically for this jam in advance unless you are releasing an asset pack for everyone to use. Remember that the point of the game jam is for you to create your entire project within the 72 hours period.
  • Feel free to utilize pre-made, publicly available, or purchased assets, as long as you have a license for them and proper credit is given as necessary.

So I'd say mentioning it on page probably is something u should do, yeah.

It's true, but I didn't really have much time implementing many features I was going to. Originally I was about to make 5 fights and also more features for those fights (spikes that turn on/off when you move or hit dummy, arrows after defeating ghost of archer), but I just didn't have enough time for these, neither other stuff like cutscenes. Honestly, making OSTs and textures was the most time-consuming since I don't have much experience with that.

Nice game! Honestly crazy how much you made in just 3 days.

Played your game, probably the best I've seen so far!

For some reason app just doesn't run for me, it just doesn't respond and then closes itself.

Same, I had to completely rethink the story at day 2 just so I can fit at least something with theme in time... And yet the only thing is just explanation of story in the end of the game.

I was not expecting to see something like this, such a good game.

Very cool game, the only 2 problems were optimization and the fact that visuals didn't scale well with the window. Also, it would be nice to see stats of towers to understand what are their pros and cons.

Great idea! I'll check all the games here a bit later.

I assume they didn't set game to Public. I did similar mistake (which I fixed soon), for some reason "Draft" was default state. Or something like "Hide this file and prevent if from being downloaded" is turned on.
