Nice! Had fun building what felt like a massive fleet, and loved the upgrade system. That, and the music / art is great, too :D

Oh wow, that is so sweet! Thanks for playing both games, really glad you enjoyed them :)

Movement was a bit tricky at first but once I had plenty of fun once I got the hang of it! Fun game, good level design :D

Best score for me was 1:13 remaining with 1 death after a few retries (definitely the first jump is the hardest but thankfully not much time lost haha)

Wow that was a close call, survived with only 1% health haha

Awesome game, fantastic art, and immersive audio. Love that I can change characters and abilities on the fly, really encourages swapping for increased strategy.

Great job! :)

Awesome arcade game, and the art + music is perfect! Initially got a bit confused about how to use the hammer until I read the game description and realized I could actually use the flags to jump down, haha.

Got to 660 but I think I can do better :) Excellent work!

Very fun and quite challenging! Loved the music, and the unwavering optimism of Skinny Steve :D

Haha thanks for coming back, and for the feedback! Perhaps introducing some difficulty levels would make that possible, like a "free-run" mode. Great idea!

Wow, super cool concept and fun puzzles! The ideas are clever and executed well. That, and the story of two rooks being best friends is too cute. Awesome job!

Clever concept and great gameplay! Very aesthetically pleasing as well, great job :)

Whew, that was tough! Thanks for adding checkpoints, definitely helped me out. Nice job! :D

Very charming! It was fun meeting all the characters, and I was interested to explore every floor to make sure I didn't miss anything haha. Great job :)

Nice! Similar core mechanics in both of our games, though I feel yours definitely requires more skill to complete. Very fun, but I might have some bias haha.

Also, props to your composer, quite the catchy tune!

Yay, glad you liked the music :) Thanks for playing!

Wow, loved the boss battles in this game. So much fun, and the music choices were a great fit! Awesome job :D

Short and sweet! Very creative story, excellent music, and loved the fact that there were multiple endings as well. Great job :D

Oh my goodness, it took several tries but I finally defeated the dragon and it was so satisfying haha. Excellent job, very addictive :)

Short and sweet, really enjoyed this! Great atmosphere and focus on little details (like the music changing when you're underwater). Nice job!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you liked it :)

Really enjoyed the art and had fun discovering the pets' new forms as they grow. Definitely a game with a lot of potential if the known issues in previous comments are fixed. Great stuff!

Nice :) Glad you liked it, and thanks for the feedback! I agree having some difficulty options is a great idea (maybe with an end state to encourage advancing too, and having a separate "endless" mode)

Oooh this game is difficult, I love it. Requires a nice amount of strategy and resource management, and the graphics are stellar! Got slightly confused initially thinking that the wrench should be used to repair tiles (probably based on the visuals alone), but got my head around it quickly.

Awesome job, had a lot of fun :D

Loved the graphics + animations. Also found the associated dev log very interesting to learn more about your entire process and the game's backstory, very well put together. Thanks for the extra effort there, and great job!

This game is so fun and deep! Took me a few tries to take out the snake, but it was very satisfying in the end :) Love how the game teaches the mechanics at a great pace and keeps you on your toes throughout. Really excellent job!

Very polished and wonderful UI! The game does a great job at creating an intriguing world, and the hints in the decoding section were definitely appreciated as I likely wouldn't have figured it out otherwise :)

Great feedback, and I'm glad you got that far! I agree some balancing might be warranted as you get more treats, as it does get a bit difficult to say the least haha.

Really enjoyed this! The sound effects, visuals, and interactivity of the world made it very satisfying and pleasant to play. Great job :)

Had a lot of fun with this one. Great animations and perfect music / sound effects!

Very nice game loop, spot-on sound effects, and super satisfying to see the defending army grow. Great job :)

Nice concept! Collecting the artifacts is fun, as well as eagerly hoping I'd chosen the right area to dig, haha. Also really enjoyed the tension created by the slowly approaching storm and the increasing tempo of the music. Great job :)

That's a great score, hard to beat! Thanks for coming back to it :D

Aw, this game is really sweet. Had a great time playing, and the music pairs with the art / animations so well. Awesome job :)

Satisfying ramp-up of difficulty and nice level design, got very challenging at the end there. Great job, had a lot of fun!

I had a lot of fun with this one! Adding the stats at the end was a nice touch, made me try again from the start to see if I had gotten better or if it was just a fluke that I made it through haha. Great game!

Wow, that's really high praise! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for playing + leaving a comment with feedback. It means a lot, and I agree some extra particles would do nicely :)

That's really kind, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I felt similar joy playing your team's game, great stuff :)

Yeah I thought so too, a lot of similar ideas! Thanks for the feedback :D

Had to scavenge my home for a mouse to use the controls, but I'm glad I did. A great medium to evoke a powerful message. Well done!

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! As for what happens when the hunger/energy bar depletes to zero, I agree I could make that more clear haha.

(1 edit)

Nice concept, and quite fun! Enjoyed experimenting with different army compositions until I decided to go all in on bishops and I hit an out of memory error when they started bouncing haha (currently using Chrome, btw).

Yay, fellow minigame enthusiast! Thanks for checking it out, I'm glad you liked it :D
