Ignoring the bugs and clearly unfinished stuff, this is pretty dang cool, the art direction is super solid, the grappling hook and gun play seep to work well together. I just don’t know why I’m shooting these cute aliens.
Usually I wouldn’t be too bothered by the use of pre-made assets, especially during a game jam. But when it drags the file size up to two gigabytes and is almost entirely unused. That’s kinda crazy. looks like the asset pack is called Horror Engine. You can actually still access its demo by clicking return to main menu from the pause screen.
