How does your game represent Mode?
The game takes place in an ice cream parlor (“a la mode”) and during the main gameplay segments the conveyor belt goes “Clown Mode”, which shifts the colors and speeds everything up.

Genuinely a 10/10, the graphics are amazing and the aesthetic is so good. And I feel the clown is literally me. Loved it. P. D.: At the start I didn't like it 'cause I'm dumb and didn't read the controls.
oh god, i feel like i just found a cursed secret mode in Game Boy Camera. love the art direction!
This game feels really fresh and original! I love the retro music and the filtered pictures you guys made!
If I had one complaint, it's that the game felt pretty long even tho it was only three days; maybe that has to do with how slow the evaluation of your work takes.
Still, this is a very fun, creative and polished game!
An actual Game Boy Color game! Very interesting execution of the theme. Haven't played through all the days yet(I see that you also made a dev log) . I like the narrative that is sprinkled in between the gameplay and also randomly examining things. I loved the overall aesthetic and the music. Only small issue were the slightly slow cutscenes and slow changes to the order list during gameplay.
Great job!
This game has a ton of personality! I wish I had a Game Boy Color to run it on. There's an actual story to this game which I appreciate, and I really liked the general aesthetic. Very nostalgic for me. And of course I love the clowns, nose topping was amusing. Had a little chuckle when I saw the delivery guy too ;)
Nice concept, and the GB art was super solid (props for making it run on GB, wish I had a GBC to test it out!). The cut scenes were a little slow, but that's probably fine for most folks. Good stuff!
Loved the gameboy-esque art style. Game got a tad bit repetitive after the first few days but the story and interactions were very well written. Text got buggy a few times in the playthrough ( played on the browser so that might be a reason ) . But overall the game was nice and somewhat nostalgic with the game boy sprites.
I like the aesthetics and original theme! The gameplay became a bit repetitive after a while, but it's wrapped around the story elements which makes it last quite long anyway.
I suffered from a text bug which made it hard to see which toppings to apply sometimes.
You know I could have been given like a hundred, or even like a thousand guesses for games that could have come out of the theme mode and I don't think I would have ever come up with the idea for a clown themed ice cream parlor, not only with ice cream making gameplay but also with a story complete with all the trappings of what it's like to work retail complete with customers coming in after closing. I liked the change in gameplay that levels past the first one had, though after a while the gameplay felt repetitive. Also Clown mode didn't seem to change gameplay too much other than speeding things up a bit from what I could tell. I think this game had probably my favorite graphics of any game I've seen so far, love the pixel art sprites and dithered pictures which have been rendered in GBA style.
