Is there a discord for this jam? I remember there being one last year but I can’t seem to find one for this year

Cool game! I love the art style and the characters

Wow this is an amazing game, you should definitely expand this concept. Very inspiring!

We've finally uploaded our updates, including local multiplayer and better controller support!

Awesome art!

This was hilarious! I loved the narrator and the storm effects were great! The music was amazing, I'm about to go look up the artist

This is an amazing entry! Took me a minute to learn the flow of the bombs and exorcise but once I did I had a great time. I'd love to know how you made the controls/movement feel so good!

Thanks! We went back and forth on it awhile but we ran out of time and figured controller was just a better experience for now

Wow, thank you for such a kind and thoughtful comment!! Great feedback!

Thanks!! Did you play on HTML or download?

Thanks! Yeah the framerate is kind of intermittent, I did some optimization on the spawning limitations and got rid of enemies that were on lower tower tiers but still wasn’t quite enough.

Thanks! Yeah, you’d think we’d learn not to do the tutorial at 1am the day before submission! 😂😂

Thanks for feedback! There are healing stations throughout the map, I probably should have labeled the first one 😅

Wow, amazing art!

Very cool game! Love the art aesthetic

Big potential here with this game! Loving it!

Super cool game! I'm very inspired to try Pico8 myself now!

Great job all around!

Love this! Great job

Great job with this! I'm working on my own version at the moment as well

Loving the aesthetic, makes me want to try something similar!

Thank you! We were considering adding an indicator for when you're able to pick up bombs but didn't get to it in time sadly. Thanks for the feedback and playing!

Thanks for playing!! I checked out the stream recording of your play-through, I think you might have accidentally missed a crucial mechanic of the game 😅. You can press Spacebar to lay down potions (bombs) yourself to then kick and throw at the enemy bots. We took inspiration from Bomberman which has a similar mechanic and gameplay. Though with our game when you lay a potion down 3 others spawn in the other quadrants of the map in a symmetrical pattern, which is why you might have thought they were spawning on their own. We actually programmed the bots to drop bombs themselves so that's where they were coming from.

Hopefully, this clears up any confusion, and thanks for the awesome feedback! We plan on making updates to the game in the future so this was definitely helpful!

Congrats on getting 1st place! What program did you use to make the SFX/Music?

Thanks for playing! The goal was to get to the end of the level and the timer relates to the ending cut scene that's presented

The circle platforms were cool with the gravity concept!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the ending! It was our first time making a cut scene :D

Thanks! The skeleton comments were fun to make 😂

Thank you!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thanks! Something we learned from our last Jam submission 😅

Loved this game, great job!

Great inverted take on a classic! I had a lot of fun

It took me a little too long to realize what FLOG is backwords but I loved it. Great audio and visuals! The controls were pretty hard but it looked and felt super great when I did manage to make a flog. Cool game!

You really nailed the theme here! I loved the music switching too!

Great voice work, really funny! A cool concept as well, great job!

This is a super cute game! I love the dialogues, music, and art. I wasn't able to get the second glimmer due to the controls (or my lack of understanding them) so I didn't finish... but I really wanted to and will probably come back to it!
