Great work!
Movement feels amazing! I spent the first 5 minutes admiring the walking animation!
Definitively first place material!
Very cool game. I like how you get introduced to how everything works and then the levels getting harder. However, some bugs (metal blocks getting stuck in the walls) make it a bit frustrating sometimes. For the review it was good to limit the number of levels, but for a real player you might want to add some more levels and also a "save" function. If thats to hard to implement, give the user some access code for the levels. I saw this in a game from the 90s... I guess it was push over. Worked out very well. You just note down some 6 digit number and need to reenter it to get back to your level when reloading the game.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! The game actually does save the completed levels, you can select any completed level to get back to it from the level selection screen. I just use Godot’s ConfigFile class in my SaveData class to save the furthest level the player has got up to. Thanks for playing :D
Awesome!
Lovely graphics, suitable sound/fx, great idea!
I felt a bit lost in some levels, maybe I didin't got the hint what to do. Definitely one of my favorites so far ;)
Great work! This felt very polished. The art was excellent, the levels were well designed, and the sound and music were nice (though the footsteps were a bit loud and repetitive. It took me a while to figure out I had to hold the mouse button down for the orb. I kept clicking on the fire in the second stage and not understanding why the orb disappeared so soon.
So well put together. I loved the amount of polish you managed to achieve in such a short time. It was really nice, definitely keep working on this :)
Excellent puzzle game. The "I believe I can fly" level beat me though. Maybe it's my old hands, but I trying to jump using the magnets in the pit, would either result in me getting stuck in the walls or dropping into the fire. Still, I enjoyed it a lot until that moment.
Cool idea! Well executed!
I liked the effects on the ground whilst running and jumping!
A wonderful game, I played it all the way to the end.
The art and music provide a nice atmosphere, mysterious and calm.
You have managed to make quite a bit of content and also polished it up well - great job!
This is a neat little game. Looks great, sounds great. Would've loved to see more of it.
The box physics were a little odd, seeming to prefer spinning to sliding. Maybe a stylistic choice, but it makes the floating box areas pretty tricky.
Also, it's possible to shimmy the boxes out of the way instead of burning them. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just had to try it.
