Puzzle word game! A conversation in the Stars

https://soygema.itch.io/mempathy

Fresh game! Sound designs are nice

The scene movement also gives a dynamic overview

Congrats!

Very, very nice idea. The use of color is included in the mechanics of the game and that's great!

Nice for a first Jam . Keep it up and thanks for taking part of the community

Very Nice use of the color palette .

Dynamic game, nice art

Congrats!

I couldn't go beyond the first screen. The idea of getting the game boy palette is good :)

Thanks for your words!

Hey!

Thank you so much for your feedback, it definetly has activable  a deep empathetic understanding towards the intention of the game : Im definetly taking all into consideration. This was extremely motivating... please, dont hesitate in provide this kind of feedback across the platform.

thank you again

Hey! can you post the itch.io link to the game in order to give you feedback?

 thanks

Het there art community!

Im working with Mempathy using Unity , https://soygema.itch.io/mempathy

The scene progression is composed of blue-watercolored backgrounds. Now I have a transition in which the transition is as the image shows.

I would like to implement an effect of water dropping change, instead of being painted  ( as in we might be splitting water and the watercolour might be transformed into the next one )

  • Do you know if this can be done painting alpha in a rendertarget ? or painting in mesh textures with Shaders?

Can someone pinpoint me towards the right direction?

thanks in advance for your help, it means a lot ! ^^

Hey there fellow Gamers and Testers!

Im building Mempathy... a narrative clicking experience :  a transformative relationship with constellations and  words, in order to discover something about yourself. Navigate making click  over the stars to discover how the conversation should be developed. Depending on the path you take, you might be conducted to  a different conversation.

Im searching for feedback regarding the gameplay : Im not sure if this might be a clicking experience , or introduce swipe and drawing the paths through the game. I would the video game to have the conversation as the core, but Im not sure if the 'just clicking' mades it too simplistic to the game experience... would also be nice to include somehow the art in all this , but not sure how to advance in this area.

Also Im searching for some general feedback gathered in this form https://forms.gle/qwmtb4SfAjPdqMui9

Also in the search of other examples or games that might be useful regarding the gameplay and / or art progression.

Thanks for the time dedicated to give me some feedback :) ... looking forward to help you as well in what you might find convenient

Looking forward to hear from the community!

Mempathy is narrative clicking experience :  a transformative relationship with constellations and  words, in order to discover something about yourself. A conversation in the stars with an Artificial Intelligent agent . Navigate making click  over the stars to discover how the conversation should be developed. Depending on the path you take, you might be conducted to  a different conversation. The art is built with progression through blue-watercolored environments and different path branches.

Been using ML-agents library with Imitation Learning .

If you find it interesting, please consider rate it, comment or give some specific feedback!
