The visuals have to be the best part without a doubt, even the page looked very pretty! too bad i can't rate the page itself lmao

This is great! It reminds me of other games with a similar style found on Android, it would fit right in

The game is good but i found it a little underwhelming that with the amount of different shapes the threats can take mechanically it's just either a pillar or a laser that covers half of the planet. Still, good job

Thanks for commenting! And yes the game looks great at the expense of the team coder's sleep schedule (me (it was rough)) But that's the price of quality

Thanks for the indepth comment!

Yes we slaved our souls for 6 to 9 hours a day to get the game done with all the things we wanted, If i had to do this by myself the game would probably not have as much stuff as it does currently but hey, that's the pros of working with someone!
Yes we noticed that the difficulty is quite steep when it was too late to change, the implementation of the limitation was really the hardest part as we had ideas for some more themed mechanics like having the cities you trade in move constantly but we had to cut them off due to time constraints as our scope started to get too big to manage. But I appreciate the encouraging words

Very good game, but i do agree that i wish there was more to do as the loop gets kind of repetitive after a while, still a very solid game with nice assets!

Very fun experience indeed, a full game on it's own!

I was talking with my teammates and we would like to return to the game for one last update post-jam, but it's not set in stone yet, glad you enjoyed it though

Practice makes perfect, just gotta keep doing it!

This is a very strange game but it has it's charm

Some audio could be a nice addition and the color changing was a bit annoying but hey it was a fun experience

This feels like the dramatic climax of a game where you have to track back the place you already travelled before

It's a strange sensation but it's great, the graphics are a little harsh honestly and maybe the snow too big but it's a neat idea, fun stuff

This is such a fun mini game, If it was available to download on Android I would have done so in a heartbeat, the animations are great, the concept is creative for this type of game and it's fun and challenging, Great game!

Agreeing with the other people commenting, this is a very cute game indeed, reminds me of the times of flash games!

This was a great game!! Seriously, I love the concept, the aesthetic and the gameplay even if confusing at first i got the hang of it quickly and finished it

It was a blast to play, but an error i noticed is that sometimes when moving vertically next to a gust of wind killed me even if i wasn't touching it, and also if a tree and a market were in the vacinity it would sell my seeds instantly without letting me plant

But overall It's great! I would love to see a follow up after the game jam if it happens

This looks like the base of a fun exploration game where you visit places by sailing with these physics, it's nice!

Noted for the future

Ayyyy you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear someone finished it during the rating period!

Thanks for commenting as well, I'm very happy to hear you liked it

(1 edit)

Thanks for commenting! Yes we made sure that all the buttons felt good to poke, took the whole last day to do that

Papers please was also certainly a minor inspiration for doing an interface heavy game

The game was surprisingly fun, the only complain that i have is that sometimes i spent full minutes just unable to find the enemies

With a little more polish it could be a very fun small game!

-juega331

This game cured my soul 10/10

-juega331

This is a very fun casual game, not sure about the implementation of the limitation to be honest but it's a fun game on it's own right! fun to kill a few minutes on the bus i would say and the art style is great

This has to be one of the most polished games i played so far, It's a complete experience

The only minor nitpick i have is that the keybinds are kind of weird, I feel like changing the object grabbing from V to the down button would have been better, but I don't really have anything to complain about

Congrats!

The game is enjoyable, I felt some jank on the wind mechanic as sometimes I would be aiming in the right direction and the boat would still slow down having to jitter the mouse for it to work again, and at first it confused me that i could go even against the wind if i had the sail on the correct position

I also feel like the spaces between the docks are too big when most of the time you have to just hold a single directional key without much change, maybe more obstacles and some movement mechanic like having the boat go faster if you travel in the same direction as the wind goes to

But overall it was an enjoyable experience

-juega331

I think this is one of the best implementations of the limitation i found so far, or at least my favorite personally

The concept is great but it lacks a lot of polish, The enemies always swarm you and it's very hard to survive, and I couldn't find a way to tell when i was about to be teleported or any feedback for the moment afterwards making me extremely dissoriented

Even if the execution was a bit sloppy, I love the idea behind it and it would be cool to see if it has any QoL improvements after the jam! Congrats for the submission

-juega331

I liked the idea behind it, the controls are snappy and responsive. Altough i would have preferred for the lighting bolts to have some more impact as they don't even really touch the ground or make a sound and i'm not sure what the jump button can be used for, but congrats on submitting!

Thanks for the comment! And thanks for the real feedback, yes we underestimated a little how frantic it does get to realize when it was too late and others started playing it lmao.

The nice words are always appreciated

Thanks for the comment!

We agreed in the team to keep the important mechanics small and focused so we could make em quickly, I spent the last day of the jam purely polishing adding button animations and sounds so along with a few fun things like the guide and the touchable friend, the few things to do gave a lot of feedback
