Yea I would also like to add that the lack of tutorial really made this a bit more difficult to understand.

Great game none the less, the art and. music direction really made it worth while.

Also if you wouldn't mind, please give my game a nice rating and review!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I will definitely add a tutorial in the future to clear up the game. I would love to give you a review, but I am not able to play the game as I dont have access to the computer, this night I can play it, but the ratings end in a few minutes I think. I'm really sorry, I will play it as soon as I get home from school.

The art is good and the music fits the game, i think its lacking a tutorial cause i got a  hard time understanding the game

Developer

Got it, a tutorial is the first thing I am going to add in the future. Thanks for playing and giving me feedback!

it would be interesting to see it written unity :)

Developer

Well, it would be better, I think, but that's because I have more experience in C#. Unfortunately, the time for me in Unity has passed. Thank you for playing!

Nah, godot its just better

Developer

I agree

Nice art, palette choice, music and sounds
Its very hard for me to rate it as I kind of skimmed over the tutorial thinking its gonna be simple to understand and well I got very confused trying to figure stuff out hahh
(Also yeah the symbols in the font are broken)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I can see that it may not be very clear what I intended the gameplay to be, but I promise I will fix that in the next update.

its a little confusing but the visual and the music are great!

Developer

Thank you! I will try to clarify the gameplay in the next update.

Nice game and great mono colors, little rough on the generation on the crop sometimes, and some text is missing I think, like ecaroh.games pointed out

Developer

Thank you for playing! I am planning to release an update soon only focusing on bugs, I appreciate the feedback.

Nice Art with the mono color spectrum. Fits with the sound and the gameplay.

Its hard to know when i have a potato in my hand. Was not sure what i had to do at first.

Have to "run" really quick to get something sold. Good addition for the "shower" to wipe you

out of the game. Some elements still unknown. What is the $ sign and how to use it ?

Some text was not displayed correct in webversion.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! All of your complaints are definitely issues that I will address and solve (hopefully) in the next update.

This was a great game!! Seriously, I love the concept, the aesthetic and the gameplay even if confusing at first i got the hang of it quickly and finished it

It was a blast to play, but an error i noticed is that sometimes when moving vertically next to a gust of wind killed me even if i wasn't touching it, and also if a tree and a market were in the vacinity it would sell my seeds instantly without letting me plant

But overall It's great! I would love to see a follow up after the game jam if it happens

Thank you! Yeah, the game really is full of bugs, but I plan to revisit it soon and fix all of the issues reported by the players. I really appreciate the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Hey welcome to Godot! Love the aesthetic and music. The rain/wind was kind of funny how intense it was. I got a pretty good stockpile of potatoes and made a lot of money, but could never figure out how to plant with "F". it just never worked for me. It was still fun to harvest the potatoes tho! Nice work

FYI  there is a bug with your font throughout the game in the export. I ran into this problem of "missing glyphs" a long time ago and forget how I solved it..but this might be a good start on fixing it

Developer

Thank you! I just updated the description for clarity on planting a crop. Well, I tried to change something when I exported it, but didn't work. I'll just leave it there until I update the game hopefully with a lot of bug fixes and tweaks, but after the jam. It was very exhausting trying to learn the engine while struggling to finish this on time. Thanks again for the input!

Good work, fellow Unity-defector!
Planting right next to the bank is my current strategy >:)
Here's my high score!

If you develop this further, I'd love to see more clarity on what side of my plant I need to be on to harvest it. And maybe different plant types. Good job! 🌳

Developer

Hahaha, I spent 2 hours trying to fix the random generation, but nothing came of it. Thank you so much! I am planning to continue this game in the future, it is fun and it's nice seeing that people like it too.
