A very interesting submission. The style is very unique, and I love the slightly unsettling tonality with the familiar chiptune sound effects.

A very creative idea, and comes across well in the music. I think we both went for a similar theme lol! The looping/ostinato aspect is very clever. If I could offer some advice as someone who went for a similar idea, I would say try to go for a "less is more" approach; the first track for example starts off really interesting but can sound a bit cheesy (akin to a mario haunted house). To properly convey the dread and atmosphere I would focus more on subtle ambience, and use harmony that sounds less "haunted-house" esque, although it works better in the second track as it used ironically in a way, putting the music in a third-person context through the vinyl effects. Maybe use completely diatonic harmony somewhere to represent the drab, plain atmosphere. That's only a minor critique though. It is still a very captivating idea, well executed and I would love to see it become an actual game; the second two tracks are very unsettling. Good work!
Absolutely blown away by the quality of these pieces, especially the instrument (that you built yourself and then learnt! lol) in the first track; live instrumentation is really beneficial for things like this, the subtleties of the acoustic nature of the instrument shine through, particularly when complimenting the nordic theme. The piano work is great in the second two tracks as well, much more interesting harmony than many tracks I've heard (love the debussy influence). A cut above the rest for sure.
Really great work. I like the cinematic IDM combination going on, it reminds me of bits of Monument Valley 2. The sound design is top notch, and the composition is varied and interesting while also being able to fit into a game well. If I could offer a tiny bit of constructive criticism (although I struggle to find some) it would be to create a more tangible sense of contrast to fit the games theme of two worlds. Overall, definitely one of the best I've hear thus far.
Amazing compisition, instrumentation and sound choices. It definitely reminds me of VGM-like electronic music in the early 2010s. A really nice contrast between the acoustic and electronic sections. If I could offer some advice, I think a few of the electronic sections e.g. in the first and fifth track, whilst great, might not work as well in a video game as well as they would as a standalone song, especially with the drop's chords having that "strobing" effect; it is important for soundtracks to let the medium they are accompanying breathe, too much intensity doesn't make it slot in as well. A lot of great work here, especially considering the short time period. I look forward to hearing more.
Great music! The harmony in the beginning does well to capture a sense of childlike wonder and intrigue, and the orchestration fits the picture well. It would fit really well into a game, complementing and letting the art breathe. If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be to change up the chord pattern a bit, just to add some more obvious contrast, although I understand it's a main theme and shouldn't be too complicated. Great work!
