Very cool! Really dig the different take combining rhythm game with platformer, and the controls feel really nice and smooth. Maybe worth seeing how it feels having a smaller subdivision applicable for actions? Some action moments felt a bit restrained in waiting to do a needed jump or attack, a smaller subdivision would keep requiring rhythm while letting it get more fast paced. Regardless, really lovely build for the jam, well done!

Great game! I really enjoyed the play style, and the art and audio mesh together really nicely. I was momentarily addicted, but after a bit of playing the flow started to feel a bit caught up and it was pretty difficult to keep sheep/wolf number in equilibrium. But the gameplay is super fun, maybe just a tune up of some factors, or even a fourth action added, would lock this in. Excellent build!
I love this game! I would have gotten addicted if my laptop hadn't started to die, but I really enjoy what you made. Super simple, but tricky enough that you WANT to beat it. Nice little detail on the music speeding up as you progress. One tiny detail that would be a nice quality of life improvement would be if the rotate could just be held down, instead of pressing multiple times, but that's a small detail on an otherwise awesome game. Well done!
What a great game! This is one of the few that I would actually enjoy playing in my free time. To keep it simple, I'll say I pretty much loved everything, except these little issues: combat was slightly difficult, but not in a hard way, more just awkward to get any attacks in without getting hurt, and it's a very small details but it would feel 10x smoother to have the action button (F) instead be E, having so many used keystrokes all in a line was a bit hand awkward, and shrink being ctrl was also a bit uncomfortable (I'm on Mac, so that could also have made it worse). Buuut those are pointed out because the game itself was a joy to play, well done!
ALSO, thanks for the tutorial tips! So many games here would have been much more enjoyable if they just had some kind of tutorial, so hurrah to you!
Great game! I really enjoyed the gameplay and overall build, actions were nicely fitting and the art style is lovable. Only issue I was running into, I couldn't really tell what exactly was damaging me. This would lead to dying while not knowing what was causing it, which is always a sort of crummy feeling. Maybe a small in-game tutorial would help on that? Either way, excellent game!
Very cool! Always love a turn-based combat game. Graphics and art style were done brilliantly, my favorite part of the game. Also nice to have the audio all included, though some slightly more intense battle sounds would have been satisfying. Everything felt smooth, only would have enjoyed some more between-battles context or in-game tutorials so I felt I was making more use of the battle-system's complexities, but that's all extra stuff. For a month-long project this was great!
Man, I really enjoy the game's art style, graphics and motion are wonderful! In terms of actual gameplay I couldn't get very much accomplished, and the ladder controls being placed directly beneath the WASD directional controls made two handed play a bit awkward. I only mention that because the game looks and feels awesome, so tweaking details like this in the gameplay would result a really great build! But those are always the hardest bits to get down, for a month-long project y'all built a really cool game. There is also the chance that I just suck at this game, so take it with a grain of salt lol
Very cool! Great graphics, and the music and audio were an excellent match. Once I figured the physics it was a lot of fun, though some variance between a normal turn and a drift would be nice (AKA I spun out A LOT when just trying to make small directional adjustments), but in general this was a great build, well done!
Cool premise, and the graphics match the aesthetic very well. The small size of the enemies combined with how hard they are to shoot led to some pretty frustrating gameplay at times, mostly because it felt so close to being more comfortable but wasn't quite there. Well done though, some tweaks and it would be a very addictive game to play.
Really fun! At first it was a little frustrating, but once I got better it was really fun to play. Nice physics and feel to everything, and the art style was great. Nicely engaging audio, though some of the sounds became a little bit abrasive once they were heard 20+ times, but they all fit well so that's just a matter of maybe I played it too long lol
I like the style and battle approach you all took with this. I had a bit of a hard time finding the intended goal of the game, and the enemies being notably faster than me led to difficulty exploring by being constantly attacked by enemies that I couldn't outrun, but the core mechanics were interesting and the artstyle very lovable
Very cool concept, it feels a bit like the groundwork for a great game was made. I played through a few times and kept losing on day 4, even though it looked like all of the factions are being well-enough satisfied, so I could never really tell what I was doing wrong. But the death sequence is really funny, so I didn't mind too much lol. If there is a way to just make it a bit clearer what needs to be done to progress, this is a great title!
Tiny note, I kept on getting stuck in cutscenes while fully zoomed out, so the dialogue would be covered up by the high atmosphere noise, which was a bummer since the storyboard was very awesome!
Wow, you really accomplished the gameboy style feel of this genre. It was quite difficult to progress sometimes, but I think that actually makes it feel more realistic of older games and their unforgiving nature. The music and art style matched wonderfully. This is a small detail, but having the spiky bush stand out more in some way would have made playing it much smoother for me. I often ran into them without even seeing it, as they look a bit like other elements that are just part of the background. But still, beautifully made and well-rounded game, well done!
Very cool! The movements felt really nice and lended themselves well to the gameplay. It was definitely tough, but after playing many jam games that feel too easy I can appreciate that. One details for me is the audio could be given a little love, the BGM is dance oriented but doesn't have a clean loop, which would be really satisfying and keep the energy going, and some more aural cues for things happening in-game would be a great addition to keep gameplay more engaging. Regardless, really well-built and enjoyable game!
I must admit, a game about punching a shitty boss in the face is pretty satisfying. Some more content or maybe tighter details would be nice, like maybe more ways to hurt him or small variations in sound or gameplay, but the art works really well and as the game is just about punching someone, I would say mission accomplished.
Great game, I really appreciate that you kept the game simple but leaned into what elements you could draw from it. The art style was PERFECT, and good writing in the dialogue. The gameplay was surprisingly difficult in later levels, I think if anything that a small improvement could be to have some way to see what new weights are about to come, similar to Tetris. I often felt caught off guard and with no possible time to fix the scale, so progressing often meant losing enough times to just memorize the drop patterns. Great title though, well done!
Loved it! Simple actions, done really nice and cleanly. This really utilized the idea of keeping scale relatively simple, but then what's there being very solidly constructed, smooth, and enjoyable to play. I tried to recreate what my team did this jam, and no wonder the Developer was so stressed out lol
Very cool! This plays really smoothly, feels like a properly sellable title. I played through to the end, solidly built from start to finish. I could have taken a little bit more difficulty, once I had enough resources it was pretty much just a matter of moving enough and letting the weapons do the work, but that's also the nature of this style of game I suppose. It seems like your team can work very quick and smoothly, on any future projects it would be cool to see some more work with original sound and/or visual artists taken in as well to give the game a more unique aire to it, but regardless this was a solidly built game
Very cool design! I could only do the WebGL version so there were the given issues, but that's to be expected and did great considering. Nice flow of combat, and the weapon options were satisfying. At times some level design details felt a little unexciting the longer it went, but within a month this was a great construction. As far as art design goes, it felt a little odd having some things very high detail but then others very low poly. I like both, but having them side by side just made things feel a bit cut-and-pasted. All in all awesome job though, kudos!
Very cool! The first segments were really enjoyable, the mix of passive gameplay with movement was excellent. After scaling twice, the introduction of the combat mechanic felt way too sudden, and without any explanation of what to do resulted in death quickly. Even a small period of time with a few enemies attacking and an explanation of how to fight back would be perfect, but as was it was pretty discouraging to replay since it taught no lesson in regards to how to progress. I only delve in because I actually really liked it! Very well done, and cool concept.
Very cool! Great polished art style, kudos on the work. Great puzzle design, I almost get a bit distracted by the controls to focus on the quality of the puzzle, but being a bird I suppose he would have a floaty feel to him. SFX were great, music a tad repetitive but overall this was a great creation in a month's time.
