Great game and really addictive, had fun, and was genuinely happy when I finally beat it... you cot the Dopamine release to attention span ratio just about right.!!!
any critisism would be the music but it was bearable and didnt get annoying so its ok I suppose.

This I s Awesome thanks for this, one of the best implementations of the theme I have seen yet, the mechanic is really cool, you did well on graphics and the puzzles, I loved everything except the combat, I hated the combat, and feel like it would have flowed way better with out it, dont take that the wrong way though I put this in the top 5 of game jam games I have played I would say
but overall for just about every aspect this rules and with polish and better combat is the game as a concept would be worth paying for, I know Fez (and probably others) has already done the 3d to 2d switcharooney, but I feel there is high potential here!
COOL GAME GUYS!
Thanks For your feed back, I am glad you like it, I am going to add more to a final build which I am working on, it wont be platforming or enemies though, more one or two puzzles, I will take Walking simulator as a compliment! I made a breakdown video, where I explained that the inspiration was actually from walking simulator games, like Dear Esther... you can find a link to my break down on the main page if you are interested, I mostly talk about how I made the environment tho.
Sorry about the music bug, it has been patched for a version after the game jam is over allready, Im also going to optimize the grapics settings so it can run on lower end pcs... In regards to the controls were you using a mouse or a trackpad to control the camera?
Any way glad you liked what you could.
Cheers
This was a Home Brew Yaroze game that got a commercial release, which at the time was unheard of from some dude making games in their bedroom:

Back when I was a teenager that dreamed of being able to make games, there was a home brew kit for the PS1 called the Yaroze it was expensive and mostly aimed at the burgeoning indie scene, any way each month on a PS1 magazine there was a Demo disc with a Yaroze game and there was one like this I cant remember its name but you brought me back to that time, thank you. :)
really great
Hey this is my favourite implementation of the rewind mechanic yet, I love the alternate timelines thing and I think with some hot level design, graphical polish and effort it could make a really great commercial game, like a shooter puzzle game where you travel through trying to rectify one mistake in the time split but it just keeps getting harder.
Great idea you had and great work.
Really good Game, well put together and well paced, was hooked from start to finish, I liked the ambiguity of the narrative, and how you managed to incorporate multiple types of world building through the course of the story,
Very well done,
If you have a spare few minutes I'd appreciate your input on my game its a short story driven adventure, that I hope you will like.
