Such a cool Idea! I especially like being able to freeze the buttons to make them last a bit longer, very clever :) The variable jump height was nice too. At times it was a bit tricky to differentiate foreground from background, but with two colors that's really difficult to do. Fun Game!
Loved it.
Finally and indie game about a father reuniting with his kids and they dont die at the end
Good job, had fun.
Wow, I really like the game! I think it's a great idea to use black as the primary color instead of white, and the freeze mechanic is really well done. Sometimes, I find it hard to distinguish the background from the foreground, and the jump could be a bit higher. But other than that, it's a perfect and polished game!
Love the freezing mechanic, the cute art style and the little hidden keys around each level. It felt super cool wanting to go down a waterfall and finding a key in a cave at the bottom. Nice work :)
Accidentally posted this on the game page's comments so just gonna copy/paste here:
Fell in love with this when I realized I'd have to restart that short second screen because I was probably supposed to go down that hole. Such an original concept and keen eye for little puzzles/level design on full display!
Being able to press 'Q' to freeze or something would be nice though, since I was typically moving to the right it was harder to employ my index finger to hit the 'E' key than it would've been to lift my ring finger on demand. This is such a gem.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it a lot and loved your game too. Also, pressing Q instead is a smart idea as well
Really like the way the game feels. Awesome artwork and level design! Great job!
Hey cool mechanic and implementation. Grat level design too!
Made it all the way through! Art and music are great. Platforming feels smooth, although the collision with the ice and being able to jump through it does feel a bit clunky. Otherwise, more levels would be great!
Thank you! Yes there definitely could have been some more mechanical polishing, but I did what I could within the time given
