Awesome! Very unique and fun mechanic, Great art and music, and cool levels! I would suggest introducing keys in a more straightforward way rather than having the first one hidden from you. Really cool game. Nice job, dude!

cool game, one of the best games so far. the change of palete is neat and the mechanic is very cool and unique. the music is great and the sprite too. 5/5

Holy cow, this is peak! Great, clever, and well done! I encountered no bugs and had no relevant gripes and got this ice cube united with his family! But seriously, clearly you have an eye for both game mechanical design and art, as this game looks great, sounds (really) great (chill), and is fun. I especially liked the waterfall sprites and animation, beautiful glistening in a 1-bit world. Is this actually the first game you ever put out there?

Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. This is technically my 3rd polished game that I’ve made, but the first itch.io game that I’ve made alone so I definitely have some experience that helped out with this one.

Short, fun, innovative platformer with a cool core mechanic! Art style is very effective too. Would love to see a couple more levels in a future update maybe? Overall though, great game!

Definitely a cool concept, jump felt very floaty which isn't anything big it's just a game feel thing (atleast for me i prefer heavier jumps). Nice game :)

Such a cool Idea! I especially like being able to freeze the buttons to make them last a bit longer, very clever :) The variable jump height was nice too. At times it was a bit tricky to differentiate foreground from background, but with two colors that's really difficult to do. Fun Game!

Good job, had fun.

Wow, I really like the game! I think it's a great idea to use black as the primary color instead of white, and the freeze mechanic is really well done. Sometimes, I find it hard to distinguish the background from the foreground, and the jump could be a bit higher. But other than that, it's a perfect and polished game!

Love the freezing mechanic, the cute art style and the little hidden keys around each level. It felt super cool wanting to go down a waterfall and finding a key in a cave at the bottom. Nice work :)

Accidentally posted this on the game page's comments so just gonna copy/paste here:

Fell in love with this when I realized I'd have to restart that short second screen because I was probably supposed to go down that hole. Such an original concept and keen eye for little puzzles/level design on full display!

Being able to press 'Q' to freeze or something would be nice though, since I was typically moving to the right it was harder to employ my index finger to hit the 'E' key than it would've been to lift my ring finger on demand. This is such a gem.

Thank you so much! I appreciate it a lot and loved your game too. Also, pressing Q instead is a smart idea as well

Really like the way the game feels. Awesome artwork and level design! Great job!

Hey cool mechanic and implementation. Grat level design too!

Made it all the way through! Art and music are great. Platforming feels smooth, although the collision with the ice and being able to jump through it does feel a bit clunky. Otherwise, more levels would be great!

Thank you! Yes there definitely could have been some more mechanical polishing, but I did what I could within the time given
