That's nice to hear as we had to cram in a lot of the narrative at the end to meet the deadline so parts were rushed. We did manage to get a few branching sub stories in though if players wanted to try different approaches.

If we ever do a narrative given game again we will definitely get a dedicated writer next time. We're just a couple of programmers that made this so didn't want to waste a writer's time with something we might not finish as we've never finished a game before!

Thank you for playing :)

Big download but wanted to give it a go :) Souls game are not my kind of game I get too frustrated aha. Some feedback:

- This could be completely irrelevant because I got a warning about my graphics drivers, but I had quite a low framerate for my GPU (RTX 2080) around 30~ FPS maximum

- The light transition between dark and light places seemed quite severe

- Small QoL suggestion maybe pressing E should take you out of the campfire almost like a toggle, I was trying to find a way to quickly get in and out of it.

- Going into the campfire, then pressing escape, then closing the settings menu means you can't access the campfire interface on the left

- I got 1 skeleton at the start, then no more enemies until the dragon at the end, perhaps I did something wrong?

It's cool to see games that pushed the month long timescale to its limit. There's a few games that are fun, but probably didn't push the time available as much as they could. This is one where you did though :)

Ahh thank you for the feedback on the UI. We thought we had it sorted as we had issues during testing but clearly not!

Funnily enough I'm not massively into these kind of games either, I enjoy the strategy genre itself as a whole. But we thought it would be a good starting point to ensure we could try and get a project over the line due to being our first complete game :)

Hey saw this one in the discord a few days before looked cool. Some suggestions (PC):

- I think I tried to instinctively do it from Factorio, but right clicking to delete conveyor belts could be a good QoL improvement rather than going to the eraser (I see you wanted this to be PC and Mobile from other comments so see why you didn't)

- Liked the presentation, the loading transitions are cool.

- I must be silly but even though the tutorial told me to drag and drop the machines it took me a while to understand haha. Maybe some sort of "blueprint" display when you drag one of the machines might help (before it snaps to the grid blueprint)? But I don't know.

Other than that I think this was well made and have rated accordingly :).

Tales of Irim is a UI story driven colony management game set in a fictional fantasy-gunpowder universe. The central story of the game is tied to the scale theme.

It has construction, basic army management/combat, resource management and ~45 custom written events (plus some generated ones). It was our first game so if anyone has any feedback would be appreciated

Thank you for the feedback I know you've been giving a lot of good feedback on other games. So saying you played it for a bit is very kind :)

Yeah the win condition ending is not exactly clear, all 3 options allow you to continue managing the colony. I just wanted to put in some extra options for "flavour". Regarding the combat - we tried to come up with a fair algorithm that would damage your troops even with overwhelming numbers as without troop losses we believed the game would be too easy. But it is not perfect as you have seen.

I think next Game Jam we will focus on a more mechanical game as this was a lot of content to pull together.

Hey just tried it. Some feedback:

- I personally understood what to do quickly I think but looking at some of the other feedback I think it's probably a bit confusing?

- Was all of the crafting stuff finished? Like the press thing seemed quite easy to not get wrong

- Equally the spikes seemed quite easy too, I think the logo (water drop?) for them was odd as well and the model looked a bit like a bullet casing... that was a bit confusing to me.

- Only 1 Pangolin I managed to get to 100% perfection but it was enough to win the battle by some margin :)

Otherwise it all makes sense now. I got very confused seeing your game in the discord with the crafting stuff and then separately the battle stuff over the last few days. But I do think this is an innovative take compared to some other stuff I've seen so well done!

Hey just tried it from discord :) Some feedback:

- On the far right of the entry area "equipment" is spelt incorrectly

- I felt like the inventory UI maybe could have been a bit better, that could just be my opinion though I don't know! I think it was the large spaces between the cards for me (I have a 2k monitor).

- I somehow managed to cause a bug after speaking to the supervisor where clicking "Do Your Job" didn't do anything but it didn't happen after reloading. Not sure on exact reproduction steps.

- Even though I don't play these kind of games I did like the card gameplay, and I can see a lot of effort went into this!

- Was nice to see all the written dialog as well.

Good work though, can see this will have taken some effort to pull together.

Saw this game crop up a few times in the discord over the last few days. Good to see other strategy style games being submitted :)

I like the art style with this, chill game, used to really like tycoon style games when I was younger.

Thanks. The rebellion threshold is at about ~35 mood. We tried to add a soft warning that you will get a rebellion first on the Overview screen and also through an event that fires warning you. Unfortunately it's not guaranteed to happen before a rebellion though but we did what we could for the release.

Appreciate the feedback though, thank you!

I like the artwork in this. I think I managed to cause a bug where you can stack multiple cards on top of each other (I think that's a bug?). Can't reliably reproduce it though on my second try to tell you how I did it :(

Maybe I just got unlucky but I seemed to get the same Rubes, or does it scale the more days you play? I did 3 days and got the same rubes. On a fresh start I got more :)

The audio was nice and I liked text animations you added

Hey all love to see other games related to history submitted :) Though I don't know much about this time period. Some feedback (Windows):

- Clicking "Cancel" on the settings screen doesn't seem to do anything

- I figured it out by clicking on Gilgamesh but can't see the remaining mana, health etc. easily I think.

- I could be missing it but I couldn't easily tell how much damage some spells do

- I tried to reload after completing the first 3 missions and I don't have my ally anymore (easy difficulty) so that could be a bug?

I think the theme interpretation was clever so well done with that.
