I really loved reading your inspirations while listening to the track! It's a really solid build, a bit on the quiet side tho, but nothing a volume button can't fix.

One thing I'd like to comment is the lack of focus on the first beat. This game is heavenly centered around it, and without it, the song just feels a little bit out-of-scope.

Creativity/composition wise, amazing job! Plenty of variation like you would expect during a boss fight.

It's a good track, but I don't think it fits the feel of the game that well. The song has a really chill vibe and I love the tension building synths in the background. So it is a really nice track, just not in the right context...

Oeh wow, this one is really distinct from the other tracks in this jam. I like the EDM feel and just the whole package. I think credibility wise it fits specifically this game a bit less because of the importance of rythm in this game. Great track nevertheless!

Hell yeah! A sea chanty definitely fits here!!!! It has a nice rythm going, although I sometimes get a little distracted by the triple kick. There is nice variation and tension in the track. Mixing wise I think you overdid the bass a little. Nevertheless an amazing piece!

I can totally see this style as an alternative take on the original. I would definitely vibe with it! The composition goes really hard, definitely one of my favourites.

I wonder how often you listened to the original before this, because I do hear some similarities to the original (mainly in the beginning of your submission). But might've been something you aimed for since you mentioned this being used as a 'rework'.

One thing to note is that the transition at 0:55 breaks the rythm a bit too much in my opinion. Nevertheless, an amazing submission!

I really like the choice of chiptune. It fits the feel of the game really well. The lead instrument starting at 0:34 is really loud and a bit harsh on the ears. I would've also liked a more prominent and expressed kick-drum indicating the first beat.

Has a really nice groove and rythm going which fits well into the game. Really like the bass walking through the compostion. It reminds me a bit of the original in that sense, but it's still completely original! Amazing job!

A steady base with amazingly creative leads. I really need to know what synthesizer instrument you used as one of the lead instruments <3

For anyone listening, there is a fun suprise at the end (1:07)

What an amazing piece. The many differnent instruments you used and the amazing chord progression really took me on a road trip through your island. I think it's a bit to variant for a background song in this game, but it slaps nonetheless :)
