Thank you, there's a soft spot in my heart for Deus. Glad to hear you enjoyed the character too. I appreciate your comment!

Such an innovative teleport mechanic. This could be fleshed out into a full 18 hour campaign. I love a game that lets the player have total freedom over exploration. Really interesting environments and puzzles. Great character portraits as well.
P.S. I love the strength of Dark Schippie Dues in this game. I love that they can cut down the trees.

The story is now finished and uploaded! Like always, I know there's typos and some awkward sentences, but I'm calling it good enough. I had a lot of fun writing and planning this story. Bosman and chat created some truly goofy characters.
I really got into writing these interactive fictions in Ink over the last year, and this marks my third completed Ink game. I can't wait to jump into everyone's projects. As I mentioned previously, I'd love to hear your feedback.
And if you only clicked into my page for the beautiful thumbnail art, consider giving my awesome brother, Joe, a follow on Instagram @byombu. He also designed my profile picture here on itch (fans of last year's game jam might recognize the character).
Love and Respect, and happy E3 season,
Jacob
Hey all! I haven't quite finished up the story as of 12:00AM June 4th, but wanted to make sure I shared it with the Jam before time runs out. I'm going to continue working on it over this weekend to hopefully have a more complete version by Monday's stream. The game's a silly text adventure about Damian and a mysterious god of love traveling through time. There's quite a few different endings even with 3 of the main story paths still incomplete. Let me know if you have any scolds or praises, and I'll try to implement your feedback into the final piece. Cheers everyone! Can't wait to play your games.
Thanks for reaching out for help (and apologies for the late reply). It's a bit convoluted, but there's multiple exit points that check for certain variables. For instance, if you take the rat trap in the "it's a clock" path, then that rat trap can trigger a new scene in the "don't answer" branch. Or if you answer "I love Life" in the "stars" path, then you can use this as motivation to get out of bed in the "it's a clock" story. I'll probably add hints or clearer directions when I go back to do revisions.
Happy you love the descriptions!
Love the audio cues (the man crying sound effect is brilliant). I also appreciate the content warnings at the beginning. Very well produced. I received the good ending first, but then checked out the streaking ending. Love a story with true consequences, haha. Clean, efficient writing as well. I'll have to borrow your idea of having a google form linked at the end.
Thank you for playing! I know, right! Dreams can be frustrating, both as a writer and a reader. I wrote a lot of poetry in college about dreams and delusional states of being, and the execution was really hit or miss. I think the reader needs something concrete to attach to, or else there won't be any stakes. I tried to approach this game from the perspective of someone with dementia, and how they would perceive the world around them: mixing memories, dreams and abstractions of reality.
I'd love to add audio. In my head everything is narrated by the Disco Elysium narrator!
I'm excited to check out your game!
