This has total MGS Ground Zeros vibes. Super atmospheric. It's extremely cool that you went from 2D last year to 3D this year. I'm very jealous of those skills . Very cool entry.

On another note, the Game Jam is lucky to have you. There aren't many people who have made the effort you have to go through and comment on all of the games. It such a nice thing to do. It makes the game jam worth it when people are leaving you feedback, so thank you.  You are awesome.

Thank so much! My last two games were so different from each other that I wanted try continuing the trend this time.

Commenting on every game was hard but it's definitely  a challenge I wanted to undertake. I know game dev is super hard and I wanted to congratulate everyone on every ounce of effort they put into this jam. There's so much I had to cut from this game just to finish, which was disheartening, but seeing everyone's comments during Kyle's stream and on itch.io itself, really put me on cloud nine! I wanted to return the favor.

I'm sure a ton gets left on the cutting room floor, for most of the games here (and every jam).  But I really do think that every game contributed to making this a stellar game jam, regardless of how much was finished. So I wanted to go through and appreciate what everyone did submit. All of their awesome ideas and their hard work! :)

That DSD lore is THICC. Great vibes in this game and I'll never say no to a zipline!

Developer(+1)

XD! Thank you! I worked pretty hard on the zip line :)

P.S. You've unlocked a Super THICC DSD!

This is my favourite use of Damian’s time mechanic. Really clever and fun!

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it!

We wanted a heist-like game, so we made the levels open ended, so players could coordinate their own plans.

OMG these visuals! MGS Ground Zeroes vibes x10.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! That's actually the only reason there's rain on the moon lol. Ground Zero Vibes > Laws of Physics, any-day!

Love the ambition on display! That DSD integration was wild!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're just lowly quiet men, emboldened by the flame of ambition :)

We were rewatching last years game jam stream, when Kyle said, "not sure why that glitch happened", it was like a genuine eureka moment!

Plus, changing the pc time felt like the Kojima thing to do!

That is just a brilliant approach to the story, in true MGS fashion. Mind blown!

Developer

I'm very honored! I love MGS so much and really wanted to capture the vibe, so glad it resonated! Thank you!

Rough around the edges but I love the moon reveal and the ending
EDIT: I just saw how to get DSD. Wayyyy too obscure but an absolute incredible way to include last years game jam.

Developer

Thank you! I wanted a 'playground rumor' kinda vibe for the DSD fight. You could actually access the fight by changing the game time to 2021 in the menu (I couldn't really think of a way to hint at it in game though).

A bit buggy for me, but I liked the twist ending. The Gigantimus looked awesome too!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it, despite the bugs, lol

i like the presentation and whatnot but the directions could have been better and it ends very jarringly

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'm thinking of adding a game guide of sorts to the page, might help guide other players along. I also realized that the credits don't play after the fight. It's probably a glitch that'll have to fix later. Thanks for letting me know
