We're really glad you enjoyed the narration and storytelling....it was one of our main focuses for this game!

And  we would love to hear a constructive feedback on "Why only our narration was good at least."
What are the things that really didn't work out for you in our game?

I am not from Germany. So I wanted to know if I can participate in this game jam?

You can definitely add a tool to destroy the geodes!
Nice game.

I hope to see your feedback on my game as well!

Its like playing the dinosaur game from chrome offline... but in pixel XD
Nice one!

I hope to see your feedback on my game as well!

This game hits the nostalgia!!

Feedbacks to improve this:
Make the movement more responsive.
Also try adding some more function to build up on the original game itself!

Good Luck!
I hope I will see your feedback on my game as well.

There is a bug in the game I think. I only found one ring but it says great job game over?........The sound track and the vibe is great!

Thank you buddy for the response.

Don't worry! Your Jam your rules, I have no problem in that. Just wanted some clarity. :)

How much cash will be provided as in cash prize.
Also how  will the cash be provided? (Through paypal?)

Feedback on the Game:
1.  Health Display: It would be great to have a visible indicator for the player's health during gameplay. Showcasing the remaining health adds a sense of urgency and strategy to the game, helping players gauge their risks and plan their actions effectively.

2. Visual Appeal: The overall look and feel of the game were outstanding. The use of colors was superb and made the game visually appealing and immersive. The vibrant design adds a lot of personality to the game and keeps players engaged.

3. Difficulty Curve: The game felt a little too punishing for a narrative-driven experience. Balancing the difficulty level to align with the story flow would help maintain the player's interest and engagement, especially for those who want to focus on the story rather than overcoming excessively challenging mechanics.

4. Level Design Freedom: The platforms felt too tight, limiting the player's ability to explore and experiment. Providing slightly more freedom in movement or platform layout would make the game feel less restrictive and more enjoyable. Expanding the platform design could also enhance the narrative pacing by allowing players to explore the environment more freely.

5. n-Game Tutorial: Adding an in-game tutorial would greatly enhance the overall experience. Tutorials are essential for guiding players through the game's mechanics and ensuring they fully understand how to interact with the world. A brief introduction to controls and gameplay elements would help new players feel more confident and reduce frustration.

6. Sound Design: The sound design is excellent! It really enhances the overall experience and complements the gameplay effectively. The audio work adds depth and emotion to the game, making it even more engaging and immersive.

7. The story and narration were well-done and added significant depth to the game. The narrative elements kept me invested in the journey and created a meaningful connection with the gameplay. Expanding on this strength could further enrich the overall experience.

I would love to hear your thoughts on my feedback, and I would be happy if you to try my game as well. I appreciate your efforts, and I believe with a few adjustments, the game could be even more engaging and rewarding for players.

Feedback on the Game:

1.  Sound Design: The sound design is excellent! It really enhances the overall experience and complements the gameplay effectively.

2. Controls: The controls were very responsive, which made the gameplay enjoyable. However, while playing, I noticed there was no in-game reference to some controls. For example, providing a hint, such as pressing "Tab" to switch colors or "H" to dash, would improve player retention and overall usability. A small tutorial or hint system would help players discover these features naturally.

3. Level Design: The levels felt overly linear throughout the game. Different players have different playstyles, and offering alternate paths would improve player engagement and provide a more dynamic experience. A non-linear structure with varied routes and challenges would cater to different types of players and make the game more replayable. I ultimately stopped playing because there wasn’t a sufficient reward for tackling the more difficult sections, which diminished the sense of progression and achievement.

4. Color Utilization: While it wasn’t mandatory to use every color in the game, I believe the concept has significant potential if all colors were integrated. It would add depth and complexity to the game, making it more engaging. Utilizing the full color palette could enhance the gameplay experience and create a more immersive atmosphere.

5. Art and Visuals: While the game is fun to play, the character design and tileset could benefit from more polish. Enhancing the art style would help immerse the player further and improve the overall visual appeal of the game.

Where the door is not working is the last level of the game......I was creating a level 5 but it was not completed on time and hence the door is not working.
The second one is a simple collider issue XD

Anyways thanks for highlighting the bugs.

Thank You for your valuable feedback!
The lack of air control was done deliberately so that the gravity mechanics was not exploited.
You can always play the level by constantly pressing tab and moving forward (like flappy bird).
I would love to have your take on that part like how you would have solved it!

Also,
I neglected the sound part so it was made in the last hour of the jam, hence it is not that good. :(

Thank You again!

Also,
In which level did you get soft locked?
I will check what the issue is, for the complete game I might launch afterwards.

Thank You again!

What I felt were the best: I liked the overall story of the game. The dialogues were also pretty good. And the sound design was really top - notch.

What I felt need some more work: The game and level design does not seem good. Beside the story the game itself is nothing more. The minigames hold the game together but you still have to work a lot on the levels which will only add to your story.

Overall I liked the game very much and I think it has the potential to grow a lot.

How will the prize money be transferred? Like will it be transferred in our paypal or in the form of gift cards?

Is it compulsory that we can submit only one game or can we submit multiple games?

Thnx buddy!!!

Much appreciated 👍

Thanks buddy!! Tried something new, good to find out it worked out! ;)

The game is too short for a week long game jam! But anyways nice game and good graphics.
A question: Can we rotate in 360 degree ? Cause I can't do it!!!

Thnx Buddy

Thank you very much! Watched your live stream a little late. Your feedbacks were really good. Thank you for playing.

In which form the prize money will be provided?

Will it be in any gift card or direct into our accounts or in any form of credits?

Sure

Thanks buddy👍

We were 2 developers in a team of 3 so we divided the work accordingly.... Still it was a challenge and we are glad we had it by the end of the 3rd day.

Thanks for the feedback!! Not a defense but there are people not familiar with the nodes system, we have play tested this with some non programmers and they find it difficult. So we tried to achieve a middle ground for the levels. Anyways we appreciate such a constructive feedback. 😁😁

Thanks for the feedback :)
