Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The harpoon mechanic turned out a quite glitchy in the end, but the only difficulty with catching them is that your line breaks quicker. There may have been some hit detection issues; I'm not sure why you had to harpoon them twice

As you dive deeper, the only frames of reference are the oil rigs in the background and the depth gauge. Working in that scene for so long, I think I got a good sense of where I was quite easily, but I can see how it was disorienting. Regardless, I hope it didn't interfere with the core gameplay.

Neither of us have actually ever heard of that game, but I see what you mean haha. The gameplay looks pretty similar and like a lot of fun!

When  testing, I think I got really lucky at the start all the time, so I was able to kill the first wave all the time.

And I’ll definitely add the highscore. I just did a little digging in playerprefs and omg it is magic! so easy! Thanks.

Nice! that’s better than me lol. We didn’t have time to get the game balance as we wanted, but I’m glad you could get a decent run.

One of my biggest gripes about tower defense games is that there’s nothing to do once your fort is impenetrable, so we had the reroll mechanic as well as making the enemies get more health as the waves advance to keep the player constantly building and improving.

Yeah, we were thinking about adding a health slider but ran out of time. I’ll definitely add it later so you can see how the health of each enemy increases as the waves advance.

I’m glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah, we play dungeons and dragons, so it was only natural to include other dice. I didn’t know about the chips getting stuck, so I’ll look into that.

Thanks for the feedback!

That part where you bounce of all  the singles was incredibly satisfying! With most of the other levels though, I found myself running around aimlessly until my bar was full enough to collect the next die. The bar seemed only loosely dependent on my velocity, so I never really knew exactly what to do other than just flail about until it somehow charged up enough to collect the next dice. Also, I got stuck on the ceiling sometimes and don't know why.

Overall, I like it! It's nice that the difficulty wasn't so bad that I couldn't finish it (unlike almost every other game I've reviewed so far)

The art, sound and controls all fit the type of game really well! I love the idea of having to use different faces of the die to position yourself properly, but I had a really hard time remembering which rooms were next to which - especially since they would get rotated a lot. Maybe you could dabble in 3d and have an actual cube post jam?

Crazy hard, but very rewarding when you can pull off a nice sequence of moves! I if you add some easier levels at the start, it has a lot of potential.

Incredibly smooth - both the controls and the visuals! I liked how the blobs got bigger as you went along, but I found that defeating them was a bit repetitive no matter the size.

Woah. That is insanely polished! It looks like a game I'd buy off Steam! However, like other comments said, it's pretty tough and some scenarios are literally impossible if you get unlucky with where you are when the bullets spawn. Maybe this can be fixed by increasing the player speed, allowing you to hold down a button to keep going in that direction, and having the bullets travel from maybe the top of the screen so you can see them coming better?

Also, I really like how the dialogue was displayed, but I found it tedious to listen to again after I died.

This is a really fun idea - where your abilities depend on what you jump on! I wish I could have seen what all the colors you have in the photos mean, but it is crazy hard and I couldn't get past the third level! But with some minor adjustments to the movement and adding some warning to the block changes, you've got yourself a mighty fine game!

"The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found."

With Unity games, you have to upload all of the generated files/folders together (preferably as a zip). If you only include the executable, it won't work. Next time make sure you can download and play your game after submitting it just as a test. (I am on Windows 10 btw)

Great puzzles! honestly had me stumped for a little while on some of them. I love the squishy sounds too.

It looks really nice!
