The first ennemies are imediatly the worst ones. They are so goddamn fast that you'll definitively lose a life in the first waves. The ace cards ones should be in the first wave.

A classic tower defense with a cool twist. First play I made it to round 11, second I made it to 15.  It's like playing bloons except there's something to actually do (reroll) while the next round plays out. Art style is nice, especially the little walking card animation. Great job!

Nice! that’s better than me lol. We didn’t have time to get the game balance as we wanted, but I’m glad you could get a decent run.

One of my biggest gripes about tower defense games is that there’s nothing to do once your fort is impenetrable, so we had the reroll mechanic as well as making the enemies get more health as the waves advance to keep the player constantly building and improving.

Yeah, the walking cards were pretty funny to me.

This is a fun little game ! I really liked the concept and the gameplay is satisfying. Great entry all in all !! :D

Hey. The idea of re-rolling is quite neat, as I can get better numbers as the game goes on.

The re-rolling mechanic was quite buggy tho. My dice where sometimes "stolen" by the bag for some reason and then I would not be able to place anything where they previously were.

The poker chips are also waaaaaaay to fast. So fast, in fact that the bullets would sometimes miss them. This made the first wave the first time I played feel super unfair as it has a ton of chips and I just did not have enough die to kill them.

Lastly, I wish I'd be able to see my score after losing and maybe having a high score feature too. Since you are using Unity, check out PlayerPrefs.

Thanks for the constructive criticism!

Really appreciate it

When  testing, I think I got really lucky at the start all the time, so I was able to kill the first wave all the time.

And I’ll definitely add the highscore. I just did a little digging in playerprefs and omg it is magic! so easy! Thanks.

The idea is neat. I enjoyed plaing it and it was realy hard until i started use the bag. Well done!

Cool game! Great job. Best TD game

I really like the art, the enemies have a lot of character - especially the swaggering walk of the cards. I appreciate that you can re-roll rather than just waste money on an unlucky roll.It would be nice to be able to see the enemies health, and I feel the poker chips move a bit too fast (not a lot of chance to react when they're about to get through).

Overall pretty fun!

Developer

Yeah, we were thinking about adding a health slider but ran out of time. I’ll definitely add it later so you can see how the health of each enemy increases as the waves advance.

I had great fun playing the game, I do love tower defence! The randomness of the tower's ammo certainly adds an element of luck to the game! It's clever that the pricier the tower, the more sides the dice has, thus more chances of getting higher rolls... fits the theme so well! I do love the brightly coloured art, and the fantastic animations... the walking cards do make me laugh, they are like super models strutting down the runway! Well done on making a superb game! :D

I love how you made something which both cared about the size/type of the dice and was able to include more than just d6's as well as caring about the number rolled. There were a few issues with the chips getting stuck in the corners but overall the animation/enemy movement was great. Being able to reroll the towers at the cost of putting them out of commission for a while was also a great idea.

Developer

I’m glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah, we play dungeons and dragons, so it was only natural to include other dice. I didn’t know about the chips getting stuck, so I’ll look into that.

Thanks for the feedback!
