How far can we go with the theme? An idea i have that I like a lot relies on the player being in a silent but eerie environment where nothing of interest seems to be happening. It relies on subtle cues and camera distortion effects rather than jumpscares (horror game) to be the “Less is More” part

Thanks, also sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the feedback and, yeah I didnt really think about the screen resolutions at all, sorry

Thanks!

Thanks! Also it doesnt kill you at that specific temperature, but when it gets past one of them (i forget which) it starts taking away from your health

I think this was a really good idea, well done. It made me feel like I was playing an old flash game, maybe it was something about the graphics.

The graphic were great, and it really fits the theme. Only criticism is that after a little while it does start to feel a little samey but it makes up for that.

Thanks!

(Utilicé el traductor de Google aquí, lo siento si destrocé el idioma jajaja) Gracias por los comentarios, y sí, no es muy bueno para explicar. ¡Me alegro de que lo hayas disfrutado!

Thanks for the feedback, i dont think i made it clear enough what you had to do (read the little note) so sorry about that.

Very well made

nice game

people seem awful keen to leave wherever you’re headed

The pixelated HUD is intentional, but I will look into setting that as an option in settings maybe

I guess you won being the only submission :( Hopefully next time we will have a few more.

Very nice, I like how it is simple while still being fun. Is level 4 meant to be beaten? I couldn’t get past it :/. Also the window gets cut off for me, is this intentional? If not, you still have some time to fix it.

Let me know if you’re interested at ToastersUnited#7888 on discord.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was going for!

Dialogsystem? This was made in godot.

I ended up playing this a lot longer than I expected, very nice!

Fun, and occupied me for a while. Good job!

A while ago I created a simple template godot project with things like a menu, pause screen, simple saving, etc. Can I use it or does everything have to be made in the three hours? (Btw in the title I said assets, it doesn’t actually have any gameplay assets like a character or anything)

Great game! It took me a while to figure out how to use the screwdriver. Then I rage quit because I couldn’t climb into the vent. Maybe you should make the goal a little clearer?

Well, my game isn’t that good, but thanks anyway!

You can use any graphics library you want, but for rust I would really reccommend wgpu-rs and if the others support it, use SDL. Also it’s nice to see talonlang start to get more users outside its initial community :)

Yes that’s all. Or you could scroll to the bottom of the “Submit Project” window and select create new.

You can put code in ```

This is really good! Though I think, “This people love to have their ego stroked and will submit games to show off in any large game jam.” Is untrue, they have more experience and can submit better games faster, beginners will eventually end up at their skill level in time.

Just put your game files in a zip and includecit on the itch.io downloads.

It’s the code for your game. Just get all the files, put them in a zip, and include it in your downloads.

Often, you might see the terms proprietary/closed source and open source being used in software, for example: Rust is open source, you can view the code, contribute (most of the time) and most licences also allow you to redistribute the code. In closed source, for example, Google, everything is private.

I only started today, but I think it looks good for my first day. Tomorrow i’m adding the first game and implementing the main mechanic (basically the theme)

I’m really proud of the system I came up with for adding commands! It’s so easy!

Great game! One thing that's annoying is that I sometimes get stuck in the corners.

I'm also a godot user! I have a composer and i'm looking for an artist. If you're interested dm me at ToastersUnited #7888

I'm looking for a composer! My discord is ToastersUnited #7888

I'm looking for an artist and composer for the jam (I'm mainly a programmer) and would like to team up! If you want to, just dm me on discord (ToastersUnited #7888)

Thanks for playing! The idea behind the red blocks being slower is because they spawn more often than the blie ones. If you really dont like it, feel free to change the speed in red.gd

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

make sure you test your exports
