Gorgeous sprites, so polished and well put together. However, I'm finding it hard to create a 3x3 min auto-tile tilemap from the ground tiles, can't find the right combination for all cases. Has anybody had any luck with auto-tiling this? I can use single tiles with no problem and have a minimal 3x3 auto-tile for simple cases though.

Thanks for your feedback. I thought about that too, unfortunately, I had to push this back as I realized only in the last hour that would be better not to show the tooltip like you mention and still had a ton of things to do to ship the game.

Nice implementation of a super-mario kart style game, though I didn't manage to get any of the weapons/bonuses. I've noticed that some of the art assets, were imported with a filter as they are blurry instead of being pixelated. Anyway great job in getting a game like this delivered in such a small space and short time.

Congratz on publishing your first game and well job in shipping a finished product. Though I can't understand how to dodge the arrow-thingy when they are displaced instead of being at the same level. The art is fantastically well done with great visuals and a sense of doom when the big monster's mouth appear!

This is really a solid entry, with a lot of content, nice non-intrusive music and sound effects. The art direction is really cool given the restrictions and you did a fantastic job to convey the right messages. Top marks!

Nice concept and delivery. I'm really loving all the original entries like yours, it is so inspiring see how coding and game dev can let people express all their creativity. You got top marks from me :)

I love that you mixed basically a visual novel with some, though minimal, game mechanics. I would have liked to see more variety in the game itself just to spice it up a bit. The dialogues are fantastic, though I'm not a native speaker, I really like the sound of more archaic words and sentences and definitely enjoyed that element. Overall a great job, and it is nice to see so many entries that are not the usual platformers/arcadey games.

Interesting and original idea, and got me hooked for a bit. The SFX (i.e. voices) are hilarious. Only thing is that my computer keeps bothering me about security, Windows Security doesn't really like the exe.

Thanks for the nice feedback. I'll definitely do something about the hitbox :)

Thanks for the feedback. That was my inspiration, I was recently to the dentist and so was my girlfriend and the game idea popped into mind :)

I agree about the hitbox, I thought about making it visible, though not sure how that would look like. I'll think about something as I'd like to expand the game a bit.

Love the music, the colours palette, and the general happy vibe of the game. I would love also to play it but can't really do much without knowing the recipes.  Great work overall, though if you could post somewhere the recipes perhaps would make it more enjoyable

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed the hitbox is a bit of an issue because of the rotation angle, so it is not quite immediate to understand, you get the hang of it after a while playing :)

An amazing little gem of a game, with nice visuals and soothing music and SFX. The aim of the game is clear from the start with the nicely done cutscene. The gameplay is very neat, and great use of the resolution limitation. You managed to fit in the screen a lot of information, this is what I've struggled with the most with my game. Top score for sure!

The art is really nice, especially the transition from 2D to 3D. Though I didn't get how the minigame works, are you supposed to let the ball shown on the start screen go down or save them?

Just finished and uploaded my game project. I came in late and only worked on this project for a little over a week. I'm totally bad at art so that was a major challenge as it would have been difficult to find assets for the game I have chosen to make in low rez.

I've enjoyed the process of making the game, and I'm proud of the way I've architected it so that I can very easily and in a few minutes add new levels, and tools. Initially, I only had 3 levels, but then I've added another 7 in less than an hour. I had to stop as I needed to do some polish, solve some major bugs and take care of music and sound effects.

I've used one of the many pieces of music created by Kevin MacLeod, what would we do without him (fully credited in the game) :)

Sound effects were found around in various libraries, all of them are CC0 so happy to use them. I've only recorded one piece which is when you click the button to open the patient's mouth.

There are still some little bugs I didn't manage to close in time, I might expand a bit the game and perhaps make it mobile friendly as it wouldn't be playable on mobile now.

I'd appreciate if you can play, rate and comment :) Can't wait to start playing the other game submitted, there is a lot of quality out there!

Well done and best of luck to everyone!
