Very nice!

(1 edit)

Very polished and the  puzzle design is done very well. I thought the camera was a bit too zoomed in. It makes is harder to grasp the playing field and the puzzle.

I feel your pain! Never enough time in a game jam hahaha

Cool, I left a rating and a comment :)

Great! Liked the minimal visuals and colors. Gameplay was simple but effective. Well done.

I played it and left some feedback :)

Done!

I downloaded it and when I try to open it, it says 'This application can't be opened'.

Done!

One of the better games I played! Simple but effective. One thing I think needs some work is the enemy attack animation. Right now they flash red when they're attacking. To me this looks like they are taking damage, not dealing damage.

Other than that good job!

It's a great start and basis for game, but I did miss some elements like combat/puzzles and music.
I liked the in-game menu and credits though, that was neat!

Neat idea for a puzzle game! Only remark I have is that it's missing some visual cues for learning the initial mechanics. (pressing space to get through the menu wasn't clear, or when a move depletes its not very clear)

Oh looks like it's a windows build. Do you happen to have a browser or Mac version?

Oh right! It's not clear in my opinion.

I went back and replayed the game, and it's way better now I know how to power up.
Good job :)

Ok the possession and disposing of guards was oddly satisfying! There were some cool mechanics too like 'teleporting' through a wall by possessing the guards.

Good job!

Duck with the gun 😆

Left a rating and some feedback :)

Cool, I liked the strategy element in this game. There are some small things that would probably improve the game a ton:

- Some audio effects when the Skelly or Villagers attack. Right now there's no feedback, accept the health diminishing.

- Some UI improvement in the 'shop' would go a long way, like disabling the items you can't buy just yet.

There was also a bug where I couldn't select the main character anymore.
Other than that it was a fun experience!

Thanks! You're right, I can imagine it can get repetitive having to sit through the intro every time. Will have to update it after the jam :)

The duck with the gun was really hilarious! The difficulty curve was a bit steep for me, and I wasn't really sure how the shop worked. Do you press a key to interact with the characters?

Post your jam game here and I'll leave some feedback and a rating!

Have a look at my game too:

Have a go at mine! :) https://itch.io/jam/miz-jam-1/rate/734763

Props for the FPS visuals, very cool!

Some more visual feedback when enemies attack and die would probably make it more engaging.

Thanks for the feedback, totally agree with it!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Happy you liked it so much SquishyCat!

Cool, thanks for playing!

Haha yes I think so :)

Cool racing game! I failed badly though!

Creative use of the assets! Loved the dial up and printing sounds and the overall aesthetics.

I think the gameplay could have been explained a bit clearer in the beginning. It took a while to understand what I was doing, and still not sure what the enhance button was supposed to do.

Happy you liked it, and thanks for the feedback. Something to tweak for the next version ;)

Thanks for the feedback! I agree :)

Thanks for playing :)

That was fun! I got to stage 9 :)

There was a little bug where the 'building' cue animation was placed above the enemy's inventory.  It made it a little confusing, and I only realized what was happening later on.

A little progress bar to show how long the building will take would be helpful.

Hi! Let me know what you like/dislike and what your missing! Cheers :)

Thanks for the feedback, happy you enjoyed it!

Loved the mechanics and creative puzzles! I think its one of the better games in this jam, and fits well with the theme.

It took me a while to figure it out, but the movement retention was neat once I found it. (that was the only mechanic that could have used some extra explanation, in my opinion).

The music started getting a little repetitive after a few levels, but other than that this was good :)

The noise injection was definitely our intention! I agree that the text could be a bit faster though.
Glad you stuck with the game until the end, it has a nice payoff :)

Thanks for the valuable feedback. More expressiveness in the animations and dialog text would cool to explore post jam.

Fun little game.. Would have been cool if they had more characteristics and by breeding they would look and act differently based on who the parents are.

The cats are cute, really played to my inner cat lady :)
