Just wondering if the bundle is still on the way, as I'm eager to get my hands on it!

Hello, yes it is - we've been working on onboarding the charity, which we now have to do before launch, and it has been a lot more complicated than anticipated. Working on it every day though! Hoping very soon.................

Great news, thank you for the update and for your hard work.

the bundle most of us have approved @ California Fire Relief Bundle by Necrosoft Games and 300 others - itch.io  has expired. any insight if we'll have to re-do or will itch modify the run time?

Is there a mailing list or something to be signed up to for notification when it goes live?

HostSubmitted(+8)

Not sure about that actually, but it should be on the front page of itch for a bit - and we'll be promoting it on socials and such!

We can just subscribe to this topic and you can ping us all when it's up!

Thanks for the idea.

I hope all the people typing "subscribed" realize they're sending notifications to everyone else who already subscribed

(+11)

Right. No reason to say subscribed. Just quietly click the button and wait for the announcement.

oh crap lol… sorry I did not realize that. Apologies!

I never saw this bundle even though I check for bundles every day

I definitely would have bought this one if it appeared

(Why do people do a down vote if you ask a question)

(+6)

It never appeared for sale because the organizer is still working on getting the charity aspect set up. We're all just basically waiting for that to happen so we can buy it.

I don't think it's going to happen at this point to be honest. The right moment in the news cycle has passed. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I'd be surprised if it does materialize now.

Edit: I was wrong. Hooray!

I participated to many charity bundles and the process to have stuff validated and the transfer from Jam to co-op bundle is always long. I'm NOT organiser but I'd recommend to be patient and kind.

If some people overlook donating just because "Oh that issue is so last January", I think it says more about them than others that do the work to make fundraisers happen.

(+2)(-2)

Yeah, that's fair enough. As I said, I'd be happy to be proven wrong and obviously the cause is still very important. Even if the bundle doesn't launch getting this far is still a huge amount of work that deserves recognition and respect.

(+6)

At the very least... It's a bunch of great games for $10? I can't imagine turning that down just because the cause it's supporting isn't prominent in the news right now.

🦝Just in case anyone here didn't get the email we just got, here's the new dates from the email:

"Starts February 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT and Ends March 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT."

Looks like everyone who accepted is still accepted.

(+4)

Awesome!  Thanks for keeping us up to date!
