Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on the poor general execution and cat fight, is there anything specific you'd suggest changing? I spent most of my time tinkering with the main level where you feed the rat but was struggling to make it feel good and satisfying to play. No pressure of course, I'm sure you have other games to feedback on.

Thanks for the suggestions! If I decide to update this after the rating period I'll keep your ideas in mind. Thanks for playing :)

Fantastic game! It took a little while to get the hang of things but once I did it was a lot of fun. This is really impressive and well polished for your second game jam, I'm jealous haha! Great job.

Thanks for checking out mine! I had a lot of fun making his sprites haha, glad you liked it

I loved this! The style, the puzzles, the characters. It has so much charm and character and was a really cool exploration of the theme. I will admit with the ending cutscene I expected it to be leading up to a puzzle with all the rooms involved like a sort of boss final puzzle which I thought could've been fun, but even so as a whole this was very fun. Thanks for making it!

This was brilliant! I was not expecting a boss fight at the end, that was a very cool use of the scales mechanic and was pretty intense too. This game had just the right amount of chaos to it to keep you on your toes whilst not being too chaotic that it's impossible to handle. Great job! My overall rank was B.

Nice! The controls were a little odd but I managed with them. With the attack, I found I ended up throwing pots as my weapon primarily as there wasn't much upward range on the regular attack. It's got a lovely visual and musical style and the literal take on the theme was cool too, overall a pretty neat little game. I got 11650 as my score :)

Hell yeah thank you :)

Love it, I'm surprised by how many rat-related submissions there are. Also I found the secret rat gathering :)

Great idea for the theme and feels nice to control, apart from when jumping doesn't work sometimes like some other commenters mentioned. I did also find that sometimes the walls felt a bit too low so it was difficult to jump onto some enemies.

Other than that though, good work!

Thanks for playing, it seems the title screen is a big win with everyone so far haha, glad you liked it!

Thank you, glad you liked it. It was really great to get some live feedback, I really appreciate it!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback, in hindsight the hitboxes on the enemies could've been shortened a tad, yeah.

Congrats on the score, I'm glad you liked it!

Cool idea! Would've been nice to have some kind of indicator or feedback so I know when I've hit, but other than that great job for the time you spent on it!

Quite fun! I will say the first section did get a little repetitive after a while but there was a nice sense of progression as you slowly increase stamina and get better at quickly taking out enemies and using fountains.

Overall pretty good game, well done!

What a cool idea! This definitely has potential as a fun mobile game like someone else suggested.

Great job!

Using that gun is super satisfying! If you were to make a post-jam version I'd totally play it again.

'A beekeeper with a gun is better than one without a gun'

My new life motto lol

Lovely little game and great idea!

Thank you for the feedback! I had a lot of fun working on that menu screen animation, haha, glad you liked it.

I'll check out your game later today!

What a cool take on the theme! The gameplay was simple but fun too, trying to strategise when to shield and when not. Although I will say it was a little unclear at first as to what to do, but I figured it out in the end.

I love the take on the theme, never would have thought about growth in this kind of way! Great job.
