I learned that jams exist. I made my very first game by combining everything I learned from Pico 8 tutorials and my experiments. I only started teaching myself a couple of months ago how to program and develop games. I learned that it is possible to make a fun game whilst being a novice. You truly don't have to be a good programmer to make a game. Just wanting to make it and finding ways to achieve that is good enough.

I too like the art style. Also, the controls feel good. And appreciated the storytelling. Good job!

This is really fun! Well done. I love how you implemented upgrades in between rounds. For me as well, this one is the longest I've played any of the game jam games so far.

 I enjoy the simplicity of this game.. I also like the feeling I get as I am playing. Quite nostalgic as well. I can relate to the theme.
