Simple but fun game. It feels really polished. It may have less content compared to really strong submissions but this game does what it sets out to do really well and thats all you need. Really fun game

- Can easily see how you could develop this further to include other spreads/foods. Music was super fun. The clink of the knife really got to me as i failed (in a good way). The stress of trying to catch them mid air before the fall was a great driver for me. as an unrelated side note, I wonder if controlling the knife with the mouse might be more enjoyable and worth testing rather than wsad.. perhaps picking it up and using it and putting it back... perhaps a hungry child could try and steal them.. great job!!

- I played this for 20 minutes on accident. This has a lot of replayability, also I can see speedrunners going CRAZY over this! Tutorial is also very readable. The theme is clearly there- you spread jam and peanut butter on bread. I find the fact you have to toast bread HORRIFIC- however it adds an artificial timer which creates a lot of mechanical depth and skill. Its also very interesting that you can toss things and have them drop into their respect spots. The art style is very simple and clean. Having a volume slider would be great!
- Solid game! No bugs were encountered, only problem I had is that the toast is really easy to miss with the knife. I feel like it should be slightly more forgiving of misalignment. Your game nicely innovates on the theme and you leave a lot up to the player for some really clever strategies. The artstyle and music is top notch and I love the sound effects. Outstanding job! Keep kicking ass!
- Fun, cute and engaging right out of the gate, and obviously, nails the theme perfectly. My 7yo son loved it immediately and couldn't put it down. We played "co-op" by each using the keyboard or the mouse independently. The art is more than enough to sell the concept but could absolutely be improved.

How many PB&Js can you make in 90 seconds?
Use WASD to move your knife. Use SPACEBAR to spread with your knife.
Use the Mouse to control your hand. Left click to drag and drop items around the screen.
I have a how-to play screen in game with pictures but the general flow of the game goes like this:
Grab bread
toast bread 2x
dip knife in Jelly/PB
spread Jelly/PB on toast
drag a PBed toast to a Jellyed toast or vice versa to make a PB&J
Place PB&J on Plate to score points
Also, you can run out of PB and Jelly so make to sure replace them if you run out. Empty Jars go in the trash!
We also prefer to keep a clean kitchen around here so don't go dropping things on the floor otherwise you'll get a time penalty!
You'll quickly realize the challenge of this game is managing your knife and your hand together. It won't be as easy as you think.

This was my first time every attempting to create a video game. I've always wanted to but never had a push. This was just the motivation I need and I had a BLAST! really was such a fun experience thank you!
