Thanks for the detailed reply! I really like your idea of varying the scoring approaches for each level. This could indeed lead to more varied gameplay!

I'm looking forward to see where this concept can go and hope you continue working on this :)

Great submission! Very cool mechanic that leads to very interesting puzzles. I especially liked the beginning of the game, leaving me confused about how to proceed before being introduced to the main mechanic of the game :) The art is also very charming and fitting.

Only wish it had more levels, I wanna keep going :D

Great submission, I had a lot of fun beating all the levels! The later levels are quite challenging and it was super satisfying solving them :)

One thing that could be improved is the wall sliding and jumping, it feels a bit clunky at the moment. But that's a minor nitpick (and you already mention that shortcoming yourself in the description).

Again, great job!

The concept of the game is super unique, quite different from any other submission I have played so far!

The game also looks quite polished in terms of art and sound. Good job! I found it a bit difficult to wrap my head around the scoring system at first, but after a while I transitioned from drawing random lines to more strategic turns - super fun! I found the most powerful strategy is to focus on one large-number bubble and keep multiplying it. It kinda led to me often ignoring the rest of the field, maybe there is a way to avoid that and incentivize the player to do otherwise?

Congrats on the great submission :)

Great submission! I liked the difficulty of the puzzles and all the different elements that got gradually added to make them more complex. Also, good job on the voice acting, it's a nice touch and added another layer of 'meta'-reflection to the game.

I agree with the previous comment - the sprite-work is super charming :) I was surprised by how well my peripheral vision was - I thought I would do way worse on the game than I actually did.

I was a bit unsure what the diamonds on the bottom were supposed to show though - is it some sort of global progression tracker (since they remained 'checked' after a game over)?

Super cool that you uploaded this concept, even though it's not finished. I think both the ability to control the character (and its reflection) AND the mirror that is reflecting at the same time could lead to some interesting puzzles! Would be cool to see where this can go :)

Cool puzzle game that fits the theme perfectly! Congrats on your submission :)

This might be a personal preference, but I found the time limit a bit too punishing and tedious. I would have liked to play around with the mirror and laser rotations more freely to figure out the solution.

Congrats on the submission! The idea of playing two 'reflected' characters at the same time fits the theme well. While other similar games usually depend on exploiting level geometry to 'desync' their movement, your added action to switch to one of the two reflections for a brief amount of time is a nice unique spin!

Since this is a platformer, I think the controls could be a bit more smooth, but overall good job, especially for working alone!

Thanks for the detailed and encouraging feedback, we really appreciate it :) Awesome to hear that you had fun strategizing and customizing your ship. We are currently discussing taking this game forward post-jam, so all of the suggestions/feedback are super helpful! A 2-player mode and making the battle process a bit more "smooth" are definitely something we will look into.

Also, thanks for pointing out the softlock - I think during the (time-sensitive) development, none of us thought about the scenario of not having a single laser in the ship! That's a super interesting strategic decision and we should definitely fix this bug to allow for creative strategies like this :)
