Nice work! I also fumbled with the controls, in part because I a weird ergonomic keyboard but the levels are small enough that it wasn't a big issue. Hopefully you get some more levels in the future.
I liked the gameplay idea of only controlling your mirror for a limited amount of time, that was a nice approach to the mirror agent. Unfortunately I'm not that adept at platformers and got stuck on the first jump puzzle (jumping from block to block to block) so I couldn't evaluate the game past that.
The controls took some getting used to (and when I read "q:down e:up" my first thought was that was the control for movement and not freezing), but the splitting mechanic was cool to mess with
quite an obvious choice for the reflection theme but you really brought something original and special with the splitting part ! it's a solid first entry and I hope there will be many more ;)
I liked how you decoupled the mirrored characters for a limited time - that's a quite interesting take on the mirrored platformer topic
It's a nice twist on the idea, but there will be a lot of other similar games this jam. The 'splitting' mechanic is interesting and I feel like there's a lot of ways you could go with it. Overall, nice job, congratulations on the submission!
Congrats on the submission! The idea of playing two 'reflected' characters at the same time fits the theme well. While other similar games usually depend on exploiting level geometry to 'desync' their movement, your added action to switch to one of the two reflections for a brief amount of time is a nice unique spin!
Since this is a platformer, I think the controls could be a bit more smooth, but overall good job, especially for working alone!
Fitting implementation of the theme, wish there were more levels or a bit more to do! The controls were a bit clunky but the concept came across well.
First jam and a solo entry isn't easy so well done for getting something in! I'd suggest adding a thumbnail and brief description if you have time :)
