very clean and easy to get the main idea of it. easy to get and good to have added the score for replayability, cause as said earlier i wanted to retry a couple times which is a good thing to have. you could definitely make it a newsground type of game if given more maps and gameplay for sure !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. <3

I have a new design in progress, full keyboard controls, pause menu, moving camera with the cube, bridges and falling platforms ... new levels are also coming. You can check it out on the 3 Gnomes Discord.

I have more plans with it. It's very simple game and it looks like people like it so I decided to work on it more :D

This reminds me of Bloxorz from cool math games back in the day it’s an interesting game but lacking in the audio and it might need some more features playing as a cube isn’t challenging you might need more diversity.

Developer

I agree. Sadly this was my first game and I was very busy so I spent like 4 days on it with little sleep. I wish I had more time for the sounds and more levels.
On the game page you can see a list of upcoming features. I already have some working. I'll release right after the voting ends ;)

When the game ended it left me wanting more.

It would have been nice if there had been some music or sound effects.

Developer

Thank you!

I totally agree but sadly this is my first game and I was very busy. This all was made in like 4 days with little sleep. I wish I had more time for the sounds and more levels.
This is a prototype. On the game page you can see a list of upcoming features right after the voting ends ;)

This is my kind of game (she said, just before she fell off the world and died :) ). I played through all the levels and really enjoyed it. Wish there had been more. One thing that kept distracting me a bit was that you had to reach for the mouse just to click the button to start the next level (since the rest of the game is played purely with the WASD buttons).

Developer

Lovely! I'm glad you liked it.
I already have some changes that will allow you to use spacebar/enter to go to next level or enable auto start. When the voting ends I'll publish more levels and changes. Check the game page, you can see a list of new features coming soon.

I accidentally  hit Esc and it froze, just like promised :D

There's no "end" screen so I was puzzled when it suddenly stopped. (oh wait, I guess I timed out :D) Nope, I just clicked away the screen to fast multiple times now damnit.

A great start. This idea could be extended into a nice puzzle game. For example by adding plates that would activate or deactivate traps. Or levels where there are 2 cubes which mirror each other etc.

While lacking in the audio department and challenge, this game idea seem to hold one of the biggest potential I have seen so far.

Developer

:D yeah, that escape was something I noticed after the upload. I kinda forgot that you can't just "quit" the browser :D

Thank you very much for your feedback! I don't like the idea about mirroring cubes but the activations and traps are kinda in my plan already. I wrote few of the future features on the game page. Check it out and play again after the voting is over as I plan to implement them soon.

Awesome game! Loved the smoothness of the cube controls and animations. There's so many options on how you can continue to build from here -- I can't wait to see the updates!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I have plans with it already. Some are described on the game page.

Submitted(+1)

I'm interested in seeing it after the updates.

Developer

Thanks! When the voting is over I'll do updates with more content and features.

Can't wait to see the fully fleshed out version of this game, this is a really great concept with a lot of potential.

Developer

Thank you so much! Right when the voting ends I'll start publishing updates.

Very cute! Gameplay is fun and makes me wanna get a better score each time! The controls can get a little funky if you press multiple directions but other than that they were rock solid! Very good entry :)

Developer(+1)

1. My best is 165
2. You can keep holding the direction and it goes repeatedly. There is no input caching  so it checks if you hold it down or if you just pressed it
3. Just wait when I add holes, falling blocks, walking enemies and so on ... eventually ...

Great game for your first time! Congratulations, the only real issue I had was stuttering every now and then, but that whole heartedly was probably because I was playing in browser so no worries there! Keep up the good work and I hope to see more games from you in the future.

Developer

Thank you!

No performance issues on my side, nor in a browser, not even in a browser on a virtualized Windows. Strange. Thanks for the info.

Dude, this is great! Simple yet fun and creative.

Developer

Thanks! I just wish I had added more levels, enemies, sounds and so on ... :D

This was a nice experience my kind of game. Love puzzle games.

Would have loved some sounds or music.
Fairly straightforward to expand this by creating more levels and different dangers. Keep up the good work.

Developer(+1)

Thank you soooo much! I am happy you enjoyed it.
The music was the last step and not exactly my main skill.
Yep, gonna do more levels later. The code is ready for that, the same with danger, collectibles and so on.
