Neat game! Could see this as a successful little mobile game. Here are my thoughts:

+Very fun core loop

+Fun art design (cool health bar idea :)

+The different build options and upgrade-stacking is fun

-The shop auto-appearing can be disruptive

-On Wave 8 I experienced a bug where my main ball de-spawned, leaving me helpless :(

Overall fun game with a lot of promise!

Haha, very refreshing to hear your honest experience working on this!

I hope your game jam journey goes well. This was my first jam and I learned so much; a big thing being how important it is to set boundaries with how much work you're putting in so you don't get overwhelmed. Hopefully in your other jams you have a more enjoyable experience! I'll keep an eye out for anything else you might put out there.

And I appreciate the kind words. Thanks for taking a moment to check it out. :)

hehehe >:)

Very fun and looks incredible. I hope you all are proud!

Nice work! At certain points, feels kind of like a rhythm game. The art and sounds are very nice as well.

Do you have plans on developing it further? I agree to keep the movement locked until the screen is visible. I personally find the speed of the game very fun, it feels like a game that's made for speedrunners LOL 🏃

Overall great work! Here's my high score :)

Lovely little game! The sprite and art are very cute. Sound is very pleasant as well.

The introduction of the cloud mechanic was a great way to change things up.

Do you have plans on developing it further? If so, I thinking tightening the movement mechanics would be good. And introducing additional mechanics like you did with the cloud could be fun! (Maybe an umbrella or paper airplane or something? Who knows!)

Great job overall. ☁️ :)

Noted, thanks for taking the time to play!

Nice job, fellow first-jammer! The sound and art are great. And the cheese pick-up was a nice surprise!

Do you have any plans on developing it further? If so, I would tighten up the movement behavior, though I do like the added challenge from it being a bit unwieldy. And maybe add more pick-up items like the cheese that give you some kind of power up if you think that would be fun! And maybe a wind direction indicator if you want the player to know that.

I almost glazed over this game because of the  painfully AI-looking cover image, but I'm glad I ended up playing it. The art in the game is so appealing, you should consider putting that on display instead!

Overall, nice job! 🐭🎈

Very neat game! I like how relaxing it is to play. It really requires some patience. I wonder if you considered adding any mechanics to have the climber be able to move against the wind, but maybe that defeats the purpose.

Good stuff! ⛰️

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely try implementing some of your notes.

Good idea! Thanks so much for playing

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback!

Very solid mini game! I like how simple yet effective the sprites are.  And the wind physics feels nice and fair. ☁️

Do you plan on developing it further? I reached the top of level 2 but there was no finish line to progress, and I can't access level 3 from the menu. I wonder what other mechanics you might add to make things more interesting, but maybe that's not necessary for this game!

Overall, not bad! Keep it up :)

Solid game! I really liked the art style and story of it. Your menu and game-over screens were really fun. I don't know if there was an indicator to how close I was to winning, but that would be nice! I also find it a nice touch that I can zoom in on my little guy :) ⛵

Do you plan on developing this game further? I'd love to see more choices to make on the ship. Maybe some random events that pop up (monsters, natural disasters, maybe some other things too)!

Overall great job with this!

Why is the fruit attacking me!!! 😭🥑🍎

Haha, fun cute game! Moving around feels nice and I really like the mini map.

Do you plan on developing it further?  Besides the negative ammo as some people mentioned, sometimes the shooting behavior can act funny ( if I shoot at a weird angle, the bullets bounce off of my character). I don't know if this was an intended mechanic, but the game might feel better if bullets can pass through me!

Some other power-ups might be fun too.  Maybe the map can be a power-up you discover instead of starting with it. And because it's a bullet game, you could have so much fun developing different gun types and bullet behaviors (like maybe the bullets bouncing off the walls is an upgrade we have to earn!)

And I liked the pineapple boss (his health sometimes displays decimals, but that's not a big deal LOL)!

Overall, great job!! Excited to see how this develops. :)

Cute game! Solid idea of controlling the rock/flying mechanic. I like the addition of the small rock to make things more varied. Making satisfying puzzles is hard, but you all did a good job! 🪨💨

Do you think you're going to develop it further?  I wonder what other puzzle ideas you can think of involving the rock pushing other objects or anything like that. Good work!

(PS: I see level 9 is broken but I want to finish the game!! haha)

What an ambitious game! I really like it. Making an asymmetric multiplayer is very cool; I guess because it relies on having two people it can be hard for most people to play. But I was able to play and I enjoyed it! 🌮🐈

Fun puzzle ideas that get you really excited once you realize what the other person's clue means. I thought I was stuck on the jungle one, but then I realized the layout was zig-zag instead of a top and bottom row.

Great job with this! Do you have plans on developing it further? I'd suggest adding some kind of hint system in case players are stumped. I would also add some sort of noise to indicate when you successfully completed a puzzle (similar to the first door one). I hope you all are proud!

Very sweet game! I enjoy the retro-arcade kind of vibe. Sprites, colors & sounds are very pleasing. I enjoy how you establish the narrative at the beginning to set the tone 🥕
Do you have any plans/ideas on developing it further?  I'm trying to think of additional features that could add to it, but I like it so much as it is.

PS- I discovered if I mash the action button on the boulders, I accidentally trigger the other ones next to it :P If I mash the fans I can get them to turn off again! I don't know if that was intended for the fans but I enjoyed it.

This game is very well done. It also feels like the old flash games I would play on Newgrounds :)

I feel like if you tweak the difficulty and add more polish, it could be something really special. Do you have any plans to develop if further?

Great job! ✈️

Very fun little game! Moving around & diving feels very satisfying. 🌱 The wind gusts add a considerable amount of challenge.
Do you think you would develop this any further? Sometimes it feels like the beetles spawn  on screen instead of moving in from off-screen .  But maybe I'm just bad at the game LOL

Here's my record!

Great job!

What a fun chaotic little game! The deigns of the wind spirit things are very unique and cute. 🌬️
Love the little narrative of finding this random magical item and slamming into innocent air-flying bystanders LOL.

Do you think you'd ever develop this further? Also, pressing space/enter seems to do something unintended hehe.

Great job!

This game is very challenging. Though very hard, the mechanics are very tight and consistent!

It's very beautiful, atmospheric and moody. Love when the music picks up at the end of level 1. The introduction of  the falling spikes was a great way to add change to the gameplay.

Great job! I wish I didn't start all the way from the beginning when I died LOL. Hopefully someone gets SERA to the end! 🔺

Hahah, well not all of my fingers, but using both hands spread across the keyboard was fun :P

I'm glad it was fun to make! I'm excited to see what other games you might make. and if you clean this one up further. :)

This is a very challenging game, but I really really like it! Love the mechanic of blowing to control your own hot air balloon. Amazing use of the limitation. And the player sprite is SO cute🎈

The first level was definitely the hardest, but I was able to beat it and win!

If you develop it further, I imagine making the controls a bit tighter would make it incredible.  And maybe making a slightly easier first level so I can practice the controls LOL.  Amazing job!

Oo good idea, thanks for the input!

Sweet little game! Could see this as a fun mobile game. ⛵

Do you have any ideas on what features you would add if you were to develop it further? More obstacle types could be fun, like maybe a whirlpool or some kind of sea monster boss. Could even add a cannon-firing mechanic!

Good job!

Here's my high score!

Woo thanks for playing! Feel free to share any ideas on how to make that more clear ^^

Very neat! I really like how I need to use all my fingers to play 💣
Here's my high-score!

If you ever develop this further, maybe different types of obstacles and multiple chances could be fun.
Good job! Why can't you eat cookies though!?

Wow!😲

Lovely little game! 🎨 Speed run tactic discovered: put the colors on while the wheel is spinning LOL

A fun sequel could be learning the difference between additive vs subtractive colors. Great job!

Thanks! ^^

Good work, fellow Unity-defector!
Planting right next to the bank is my current strategy >:)
Here's my high score!

If you develop this further, I'd love to see more clarity on what side of my plant I need to be on to harvest it. And maybe different plant types. Good job! 🌳

Yeeting my little airplane is so satisfying LOL. ✈️ Here's my high score!

Excited to see how this develops! Maybe with some fun power-ups. Good job!

I jumped back when my balloon exploded for the first time LOL. Nice job! 🎈

Cute game! The transition into the city was exciting, and the helicopters were wild LOL. Good job :)

Proof I beat the helicopters:

Cute and sad :')

Hey thank you!
