Amazingly ambitious!  It has a way to go to be fully playable, but this is one hell of a start.  Congrats!

Great idea, fits the theme nicely!  Very stylish graphics and good variety and depth for a short arcade romp.  Well done!

Fun arcade runner.  If you get a dice match, this one goes from 0 to 100 REAL FAST!

I think this was a great take on the theme!  Enough random to make it fun, but also enough strategy to let the player feel like they have an influence over the outcome.  Well done!

That makes sense, nice game design!  It's a fun little world to explore

Nice visuals!  Can you do anything in a world that you've already found a crystal?  I'd hate to get stuck with 5 crystals waiting for the die to roll me the one world I hadn't collected one in yet.

I wish the animation for the die rolling actually moved to another side.  As it is, the rotation is confusing and it took me a bit to figure out how to squish the other dice.  But the gameplay balance fits the theme well.  Nicely done!

I really like your implementation of the theme!  You can randomly get a really terrible control configuration, but you still feel like you have a way of winning if you can get your fingers to cooperate.  Nice job!

I wish there was a little bit more strategy than just waiting for good rolls, but the visuals are great!  Very nice style.

First of all, thanks to all those reading these posts and voting on GMTK Jam games!  Our team consisted of two programmers and one designer, and we far exceeded our expectations of just having a running executable by submission time.

Our game is an arcade-style twin stick shooter where you defeat enemies and try to avoid their fire and aim for a high score.  Enemies get stronger every round with a random permanent buff, but you can choose a buff of your own to even the odds.

We tried to strike a balance between the random nature of the theme and meaningful choice and strategy, and I really think the result is fun to play!  We'd appreciate a rating and any feedback that you have to offer.  Thanks again!

Since you can't attack unless you have dice, you spend most of the enemy encounters running around looking for more to restock, which really hinders the flow.  Especially because you need 3 yellow dice for an optimal attack and you can only hold a max of 6.

The game looks amazing though!  Very impressive for such a short jam.

Fun!  I wish there was a little more strategy than just placing as many robots as possible early, but still a nice challenge.

Very nice!  Simple but fun.  I didn't think it would have much depth, but that last fight against the king was so hectic!
