In the moment are still some bugs in the game and I am sry for this. We working hard to fix them and add some little content additions, like customisation and more graphics/animations.

In the moment the browser version need to be deactivated, because some stuff didn't get drawn probably on the screen and make the game unnecessary hard.

Thanks for your time and nice words. Have fun!

I think the online issue I had playing the browser version was that the toppings didn't load on the drink icon, I still beat hard mode though so it was definitely a fun challenge regardless.

The current version seems very stable on Windows 10. The only thing ingame I noticed was that the sigh that plays when resetting the cup sometimes plays twice at once. Another notable oddity is that the game seems to use a lot of your CPU/GPU if it can. The game never ran poorly but managed to take 50% usage of both an i-7 7700 (4.8ghz) as well as an RTX 3070ti. Doesn't impact the gameplay at all but seems strange given the game can also run on a much weaker PC I tested with similar usage of ~50%.

Developer

yeah, vsync will be implemented with the next versions. in the moment i siiting on to get the game on possibily most devices running and try to get the fastest and havyest bugs.

Lol, I had to check this and you're right. I was getting over 1,200 fps. It was using 100% of my 3070ti and 10-20% of my 5800x... If you want you can go into the Nvidia control panel -> Manage 3D settings -> 'add' cowtastic cafe -> change max frame rate to your refresh rate, or 60, or whatever you like. :)

I found a bug for both modes. If you hit 'finish drink' with only the wrong ingredients, and the glass is not completely filled; then the order vanishes without refreshing the cup. This prevents you from passing the order without completely filling the glass or redoing the order. On more complex orders it can prevent you from knowing the order, and having the accept the ruined order. (don't ask me how bad I am at this game that I found this. lol)

If anyone runs into this right now, the easy solution is to make sure your glass is full and then hit finish order again. It only doesn't let you complete the order if the drink isn't filled to a certain point, even if the ingredients are incorrect.

Thanks, I will try this out and fix this hopefully

So far, I didn't found a single bug with the linux version, it run flawlessly. However, the linux version also need vsync just like Windows, I get over 1000 FPS and my GPU get 90% usage.

If you are looking for a linux beta tester, I'm glad to help if needed.

Developer(+1)

thank you, i have a steamdeck(uses linux) to test the most stuff out. in the moemnt the WebGL and Android versions are both the most troublesome.

(+1)

Got a Steam Deck too :) but I also run Debian on my main computer since 3 years now.
I know is not available on Unity yet but they are working to add WebGPU which is more efficient than WebGL and it will eventually be replace by WebGPU in near futur. Take a look here if you are interested: https://forum.unity.com/threads/how-about-webgpu.1277615/

Regarding Android, even if it use a linux kernel as it's base, this is another kind of OS.

Just as a note about the Android version (cowtastic_1.0.0.24_2) - I gave it a try on an Android tablet knowing it could have issues, and didn't have any notable issues at first.... though it does start stuttering the further along the game goes.

I would have expected it was related to her size/max size (graphical/animation related), but it seems more tied to either Production or "Milky" mode.
First Normal run up max size with about 12ml production at most, and not much issue.
Second run on Normal + Milky mode, and stutters were increasing as time (and production) ran on.

I may try another run on Normal, going for high production without Milky mode and see if it behaves the same.

How can I have save file in the game?Does online version have save file?If yes,how to load a save file?

(+1)

There are no saves. It is an arcade game so once you start you're in it to win it. However, your purchased clothing and milk flavors are saved to use in any game going forward. Gameplay time is 30-60 min depending on how good you are.

(1 edit)

I'm running the windows version and not sure if it's something on my end but, every time I open the settings it cuts the sides off of the window like I'm playing on a phone but keeps the edges of the game out where they would be for the pc version.

EDIT: Found the problem, it lists vertical resolutions as the "highest" quality therefore making it default to vertical when my pc is most definitely not.

yeah it will randomly say wrong drink, customers sometimes ask for one thing but expect another. i just find it unplayable in this state.

(+1)

It is definitely playable but it would be nice if what the customer said matches what they actually ordered. However, I'm sure it doesn't match up due to the randomization and they just need to find a new way to assign values to each ingredient. I do believe he has said the next update is focusing on the customers so check back if you're interested in playing.

yeah, I absolutely will be checking back for updates, a bugfix for the orders would let me enjoy it a lot more and I am certainly interested in the content ;3

Developer(+1)

i think i fixed this in the next version. there is a lot happening in the background while the genrating of the drinks happen and somtimes stuff happen only under certain condition.

the next update will be pretty big and extend the game in many directions.

hi there noa3, i liked the game because it has a ressemble to papa luis games that i used to play back, i have been following for a while the game, i noticed that there was no update, i understand that you must have been working on it and i really dont want to sound like those guys that just pressure people to give information but do you know when the next public update will be?, if you dont want to tell me its okay im just curious.

Developer(+3)

tbh, initial was the next update was pretty fast planed and contained only fixes but we thought there is so much stuff, we could do better and want atleast a bit to get the whishes of the community. it will take a bit, even the Lacto Community is asking when the next update/game will come

dang

W

How I want to know when a new update will be released, but it's a pity that you can't find out the approximate update date (

Hey bro, I love the game you do, but I am experiencing freezing after a certain period of time in the game, I know because my phone is old, I am aware but can you optimize it for me to phones with 2gb ram(HUAWEI Y8 2018) I'd appreciate it if you do. And you have to add more customers to the game, as if the interface is a bit plain.
